I bought the Garmin sapphire 7S last year. I was looking for a watch that could last during long distance events (over 15 hours etc). Pros: Stylish, I wear it as an everyday watch Battery life, it definitely lasts longer than any previous Garmin Ease of use; similar functionality to previous Garmin Cons; (I read about these before I purchased, but hoped they wouldn't bother me, they do :-( Dim screen- even when you adjust the brightness, it's just dull Small font- again, even when you customize the screens, the overall default text font is very small and not adjustable. A huge disadvantage when you're w/o your readers on a trail run.swim etc

I just bought this watch a little over a week ago. I had an Apple Watch before but this can do so much more. Took me a bit to learn, but now I got it! I'm happy I made the switch!

I bought Garmin fenix 7s and all is OK besides silicone band that cause very strong allergy on my hand. Washing and cleaning it after the training doesn't help.

I lost my Fenix 5S so my husband ordered this for me for Christmas... I absolutely love it. Love the colors and features and it works so well

Had a Fenix 6 and upgraded to the 7s and both have been great. Battery life makes it a great watch.

I was skeptical after years with my Apple watch. My husband bought us Garmin watches as we are training for a spartan next year, and battery life is an issue with Apple when using GPS. This watch is so beautiful, and I only have to charge it once a week, even when using GPS to track runs. There is a learning curve when moving from the Apple Fitness App to the Garmin Connect App, but after a few weeks, it was smooth sailing. Please do it!

I haven't had this watch for long but it didn't take long to see how much upgraded it is above my older Fenix 5S plus. So many data points and what feels like more accurate readings, esp on my HR and sleep data points. The running metrics are very helpful for me, a perpetual (and aging) beginner, to have an idea where I can make improvements above & beyond what the 5S was able to provide. Very happy with the default settings so far, though some are more than I really need/want but am enjoying getting acquainted with them all. If you're a data nerd, and if you want a straightforward assessment of your health metrics, it's a fantastic watch... and VERY attractive too. FWIW, I'm happy to have selected the lighterweight titanium casing this time - much more comfortable on my wrist than the heavier steel.

Love the color and size of this watch. It motivates me every day to be more active and take care of my health and well-being. I am a swimmer and the Post workout charts are like having a coach by your side. Motivational and insightful. Highly recommend Garmin.

I bought this watch almost 2 years ago, wanted to share my thoughts on the performance and value. I chose the smaller face due to concerns with possible damage at work, wish I had gotten the mid size face as maps are harder to see on this smaller size. The only other regret is not being able to get the ekg monitor on this model, it does not support this feature. My next watch would probably be the fenix pro version or the epix pro as this new feature seems worthwhile. Everything else about this watch has been a pleasant experience, the music storage in particular as well as the gps accuracy are both beyond expectation. The settings are very well thought out if somewhat overwhelming in number and variety. I would not consider other brands with everything garmin has put into this watch and the supporting software - former fitbit user.

I bit the bullet and bought this watch when it was on sale. I previously had 3 vivo active Garmin. When my last watch heart rate died I knew it was time to invest in a nice watch. I am a very active runner. I have loved the upgrades this watch has. The battery life has been a huge upgrade. I use GPS a lot for when I go on walks or runs and I still get several days out of the battery. I am 5"3 and have small wrists but the 42 fits just right.

I bought this a month ago and have used it for surfing, yoga, running and backpacking. I love how accurate its tracking is and the variety of activities and apps it offers. Unfortunately, it died on me on a backpacking trip. It was showing 5 days of battery life left,

I bought this watch about a month ago now because I wanted to transition from my Apple Watch to more of a fitness based watch with GPS, and I really wanted something with better battery life. The battery life is AMAZING!!! I charge it maybe once a week. It's so refreshing to not have my watch die during an exercise! One thing that I really don't care for is the heart rate sensor- I find it very inaccurate which is frustrating considering how much you pay for the watch. For example, I recently ran a half marathon and when I was looking at my race stats it said, mid race, that my heart rate was 30? 30!!!! Super far off. Other than that, I'm satisfied but this heart rate being so off really impacts all of my personal health statistics on my watch.
