The fenix 7 is a good watch with some outstanding features. My only complaint is with the charging cable connection. It falls out and is difficult to get a connection. As soon as a blood glucose monitor is included I'm going to buy another one.

I wanted a durable easy to use smart watch. Being someone who is outdoors a lot and very tough on equipment I needed a watch with features I could use, that tracked biometrics, was easy to use and navigate, and was able to stand up to my abuse. The Garmin fit the bill and then some.

I had FR 245. initally wanted 965 or enduro for long lasting battery and I just bought fenix 7 just to try out and I fell in love with it. fenix 7 is what you want if you like multiple different workouts.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago. I used it for several surf sessions and sadly the start stop button is now broken. Did not last even 2 weeks. However, contacted garmin and they are sending a replacement at no charge. So service is top notch but quality is still tbd at this point.

Battery life is great can get 20+ days out of it. Lots of functions that are great to use. The gps isn't the best graphics but it is functional. I enjoy it. I had a Garmin watch fenix 3gr before this and I get 7 years out of it before it wouldn't hold a charge and all the functionality of it quit working so it lasted quite the long time.

I don't expensive or spend lots of time outdoors. I only want to know what the date and time is. What I like: Its a true standalone watch that doesn't need to routinely synced to a smartphone. Its battery life is 1 day per 1% charge on Time Only mode. 100% charge = 100 days of battery (time only mode). It doesn't use Wear OS. It uses Garmins own proprietary OS. Looks Nice. Feels like a heavy duty hard core watch. I get to brag to my coworkers that my smart watch is more expensive than theirs. What I don't like: The solar charging doesn't work very well. I'm not 100% sure it works at all. I subtracted 1 star for this. If this were a model that wasn't said to have solar charging it would be a 5 star watch. They need to provide more info about solar charging to potential customers.

I replaced a Forerunner and wanted golf functionality. I have only used for running, cycling and kayaking so far, but so far so good. I can't visibly see the benefit of solar charging at this point, but that doesn't mean it's not adding some charge to the battery. I like the more durable construction.

After years of searching and at least 8 different smart watches later, I have finally found the perfect piece for me in the Garmin Fenix 7 Solar. This watch has every feature I could want from spot on navigation and maps to amazing body Stat features to every type of work out app you could want. And the battery lasts forever! The only thing I would change would be to make the back screen a little brighter. But, it is still very legible. Overall, it's an absolutely amazing piece. I highly recommend!

Former Galaxy Watch 4 user here. The Fenix 7 is a game changer compared to my old samsung. The battery life is phenomenal, and the build quality of the watch just feels so much more rugged compared to my samsung. Having a standalone GPS built into it is also so useful compared to my samsung which required a phone connection, on the Fenix 7 I can use GPS without any connection to my phone. Switching from Samsung to Garmin was just what I needed. It also helps that because I'm an IOS user, I wasn't able to use my Samsung watch, but Garmin works just fine. This watch is 100% worth the money.

I have had this less than a month I use it just about everyday from treadmill to mountain biking and hiking. It's really accurate and on top of its game. I can't wait to use it backpacking in the whites near the end of September!

My second Garmin Fenix. This is smaller (47) and fits my wrist well. Lots of features and I'm getting used to them. Still struggling finding what feature I want. The solar feature is great. Minimal charging.

The Fenix 7-Solar is loaded with features. Having a long lasting battery is fantastic, and add the fact that it is solar is even better. Learning more about the functions everyday.

Getting old, eyes aren?t what they used to be and still don?t like wearing glasses while working out. Biggest watch face I could find and still learning all the app features. Love that I can charge it and go days without recharging. So far extremely happy, not a cheap watch but nothing good is.

I Love my fenix S Solar watch, despite a few frustrations in the beginning. Here's what I really like- the solar capabilities, the glances, and the versatility. Solar- I just did a 6 day mountain bike trip in the Utah wilderness and never had to recharge my watch due to the solar charging. Glances- I love the ease of the touch screen and being able to "glance" through all my stats and physiology in the morning including heart rate, sleep, body battery, weather, training readiness, steps, HRV status... Versatility- The fenix has so many activity options and fun widgets to use I was frustrated in the beginning when I couldn't get my fenix to pair with my iPhone. I tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations several times with no luck. I looked at videos online. Finally I looked up on. a basic Google search, why my Fenix wasn't pairing. The solution was to delete my Bluetooth for fenix S Solar on my phone settings, not on the Garmin Connect app, then reinstall it. Bingo! It finally paired. The only other change I wish I'd made was to get the 47 mm face instead of the 42mm.

I?ve owned this for almost a month now and very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is I cannot get VO2 max reading. I?ve run over 10 minutes, set everything needed to get a reading and still no reading. Garmins support is less than existent on this as I?ve tried emailing without any response.

I splurged on this watch because I needed something with more features than the Apple Watch. Figuring out features is not intuitive, such as uploading route maps. I spent a great deal of time learning and watching YouTube videos that were better than the Garmin site. Overall I?m pleased with the purchase and the precise body metrics. If you want music on your watch put the Apple on your wrist too because the Garmin Spotify app sucks.

I am new to using Garmin watches, The new Fenix7x has exceeded my expectations. Prior to my purchase I did lots of research between different types of Garmin watches, I do a lot of weight lifting, running, swimming, biking, and mountain biking, this watch tracks everything. I highly recommend it for anyone that does these activities.

The pulse oximeter often suddenly starts to show very high values. You have to take the watch off and put it back on to get it to show properly again. This is not only a problem of this watch, before that there were 6? pro, 7x sapphire, it was the same

I?ve never owned an Apple Watch or any kind of a fitness watch. I love this! I watched a video before it came so I was a little familiar with it, once I got it I found it very easy to use. I love all the features and I?ve had it about 2 1/2 weeks and have not had to charge it manually due to the solar feature. It?s expensive, but worth it! Also it?s extremely good looking for this type of watch.

I bought the Fenix 7 about three weeks ago now and let me tell you, this watch does just about everything. For the average consumer or just someone who needs the time and stopwatch this is overboard, but for those who are very active live life doing multiple outdoor activities this watch will serve you well.

I feel like Garmin has stepped into the modern watch era with this one. Garmin has always been top of the like with athletic features. However now we have features like paying with card, music although not Apple Music. It looks fantastic, but it is a little heavier than my old 935xt. I?m really happy with the watch on the whole and pleased to make memories with it.
