The HERO8 Black is rugged and waterproof right out of the box, but this tough housing handles anything you can throw at it. It protects from dirt and flying debris during intense action-plus, it's waterproof down to 196' (60m) and perfect for deep-water diving. Protects your HERO8 Black from mud, dirt and debris during extreme activities Includes a skeleton backdoor for improved audio capture (see note below) and easy access to the camera's touch screen. A flat glass lens makes for sharp, high-quality images above and below water.

Included with the Protective Housing for HERO8 Black are the skeleton backdoor, mounting buckle and thumb screw. The housing measures 3.1" x 3" x 1.6" (8cm x 7.8cm x 4.1cm) and weighs 2.6 oz. (73 g) without the camera. Warning: Designed for use with HERO8 Black only. Use with other models could damage the camera or housing. Note:Compared to audio capture with a waterproof backdoor installed. The skeleton backdoor isn't recommended for use during underwater capture.
