Fantastic All Around Skin
I've had this skin now for almost a year and have used it for over 50 dives in a variety of different situations and it has never let me down. I typically wear it under a wetsuit and it makes getting my suit on and off an absolute breeze, but I have also worn it under a dry suit as a wicking agent and it does a fantastic job of keeping body moisture away from my skin and off my clothes. I've also used it in the Caribbean under a bathing suit and it alone has kept me warm and comfortable on dives ranging from 45 minutes to an hour in 78 degree water with absolute no chill. However, I will mention here that I seem to have a high tolerance to "colder" water. I even wore this under a 5mm on a 45 minute dive in 52 degree water. This is a fantastic skin and if you're looking for something that will work in any situation and hold up for the long term then look no further than this suit. You won't regret it.

Fourth Element seems to me to be one of the leaders in adding technology to there products. I have NOT been in the water yet with me yet. Did try it on fits great (Large, 6' 162 lbs.) March 4, Bonair for 2 weeks. I will update my review then. I have other of there gear and have not been disappointed.

Constructed from high grade Lycia based fabric, the Hydroskin Rash Guards and suit are designed to wear under a wetsuit or semi-dry suit or as a UV shield for other water sport activities. The ultra smooth fabric reduces friction between the skin and a wetsuit and helps to stop chafing of tight/ill-fitting suits. The HydroSkin suit provides all over protection from UV and most "stingers". Made with heavy grade high quality Lycia, it has SPF of 50+ when dry, and over SPF 30 when wet. It is the perfect dive skin for tropical waters, or for wearing under wetsuit to ease donning and doffing.
There's nothing like a severe case of sunburn to spoiling an otherwise idyllic holiday. Not only is it painful, but the rubbing of a BCD strap or wetsuit can be agony and can also have serious long-term health implications. With Ultra-Violet Protection, the Hydroskin is the perfect protection from the sun when snorkeling, swimming or diving. It is fast drying. Suit has thumb loops and stirrups to prevent roll-up when donning a wet or dry suit. The front zipper closure makes for easy self donning and doffing. All seams are flat stitched for added comfort; the suit is available in multiple sizes.
