Blue Steel Valve

This "indent" on the insert is normal part of manufacturing process. It allows any built up pressure under o-ring to equalize to assure proper pressure seal of o-ring in o-ring groove. In addition it is a point that enables easier removal with o-ring pick and installation of the new “Yoke Seal” o-ring which is a wear item and should be replaced under normal periodic inspection/maintenance.

Specifically designed for Re-Breather cylinders, Blue Steel's Inline Re-Breather valve offers a low-profile design with easy hand wheel access to meet compact re-breather design requirements. With built in "bump guard" to help absorb impact stress and enhance hand wheel clearance, valves are constructed of rugged brass with chrome plated matt finish for durability and oxygen compatible components and lubricants. These 200-bar DIN outlet, 3/4" NPSM inlet threaded valves have a working pressure of 3442 psi (230 bar) and a burst disc rating of 5250 psi burst disk service pressure. The burst disk is shrouded safety device and valves are available with black or green hand wheels.
