Fantastic river shoes! Good grip and they look great too. Would order a half size up, as my typical size was too small.

I love them on wooden decks fishing and for my work as a Front Desk Security Agent with Portland Public Schools. They breathe well and off good support and even match my 511 Stryke uniform pants. I was gifted a paddle board for my 52nd birthday and can?t wait to use them on it.

These did great on the river! Good traction on rocks and drained well. These might run a tad small... I ordered my usual size and will be fine. If you prefer a looser fit, I'd advise a half size up. Also, make sure to have a backup shoe... there is a little break in period for the back part of the shoe. I did not get a blister but if I'd worn them longer I may have... this could also just be due to the slight smallness in size, as previously mentioned. Overall did great and so glad I purchased!

The shoes are very cushioned. I wore them for several days of hiking in California. I did find them a little difficult to get on.

Super light weight with incredible arch support. I typically have to change the insoles in new shoes. Not these! Fit is right on, with a generous foot box. I?m glad I bought them!

These are great shoes! They were comfortable to hike around in and on the raft all day. They did give me a small blister on my heel but I did not break them in first.

Love these shoes. Very comfy and great to walk a few miles in. Danners are the bomb!

Extremely comfortable, did get a blister feel this is a breaking in only. Light, use fire shoreline search and rescue.

Love the style and fit. However the flat sole is slippery on the wet rocks during water crossings, and there are many water crossings on hikes in the Smoky Mountains.

Does just what it says on the tin. A light, sturdy river shoe that grips in the water and drains well on land, with good support. Kept the majority of grit out, except for when I stepped into some very loose dirt and sunk up to the ankles (my fault). Unfortunately, I did have to deduct a star because they gave me serious blisters on my heels the first time I wore them. I think they'll break in, but for prospective buyers, come prepared with moleskin for the first few adventures.

Shoe not as substantial as I expected. Low cut makes for uncertain stability. Colors not vibrant. Overall, a miss which I am surprised by given this is my 6th pair of Danners.

Very comfortable shoe that doesn't rub on your bare feet. good grip on river rocks and keeps the pebbles out.

These shoes are so perfect for me. This and the trail 2650 are my two most favorite shoes of all time. I might just have to buy one more because I love the color combination the best hands down.

Danner is my new favorite shoe company. I bought hiking boots a year ago and love them, but they are too hot in the summer and they are clunky for every day use, so I thought I would try these. They fit much like the boot. I'm particular about having a wide toe area in my shoes and not a lot of arch support and this shoe delivered for me. Plus it's cute! I was able to wear them without socks right out of the box and they were comfortable for walking the dog. I haven't done a hard core hike with them yet or used them in water so I can't report on that, but as an every day shoe they are great! I read some comments about the opening being challenging for those with bigger ankles. I do not have that issue but I can see that it would be an issue for those that do. While the opening might be narrow, what I like about that is I feel like it keeps the shoe firmly in place when walking downhill so my toes don't jam up against the end of the shoe. So I appreciate the opening just the way it is.

I used these to hike The Narrows at Zion NP (14 miles of in-a-rocky-river hiking) and these were perfect. They had amazing traction and support. They also transitioned seamlessly to on-land trails for another canyoneering trail I did there. They were true to size and super comfortable the entire time. Plus even after being covered in red sand, they didn?t stain. They didn?t feel heavy when I was walking around in the water, and dried really quickly after. I highly recommend these shoes.

I searched for awhile to find good looking water shoes and I found these! Super cute and light weight. The style is a great tan/green combo that look like hiking shoes. The only reason I gave a 4 star is the fit is nice but the stitching on the inside you can kinda feel and I?m hoping that doesn?t scratch the top of my feet too much..

I bought a woman's shoe because I liked the design better. I pulled the laces out and just wore them as slip-ons while at the Nueces River for 3 days. I did develop some blistering, but nothing too bad.

These are awesome. I'm a non-profit river restoration professional. In the water a lot. Doesn't even make sense to go to stream and not walk in it. In the summer that means wet wading. These shoes go from office, to trail, to water, and back out again so comfortably. They are lightweight, seem sturdy so far. Fit is a bit wide but that gives me more control with my foot on mossy, slick, cobble beds and frankly it makes me put them on more readily to just go to the office or run an errand. I have this feeling I'm going to wear them all summer and need a new pair soon. They don't dry all the way out underfoot without giving them some time and preferably air with the insoles out. That makes sense but worth noting. Unlike some other brands, they are drying out without stiffness or smell - a good cool water spray down doesn't hurt. Part of me wishes you could get the in stream grippyness of this sole and the drainage in the more structured trail 2650 for those days when I have to hike and climb to get to a survey site but need shoes that go right in the water. I don't think these would give me that support. But these are awesome. If you walk, hike, or stroll and want to be in the water and stable...if you wet wade to fly fish free stone cobble streams and don't want to wear heavy boots...this is the shoe.

Nice shoe. A little tight at first but they loosened up after a short time wearing them. I was surprised at how comfortable they are. Looking forward to wearing them fishing this summer.
