Great BCD for travel. Folds up nice and compact compared to most other BCDs. This vest has plenty of D rings all over to place various attachments for accessories. For a vest style, I would definitely buy again. Though I feel like the only gripe I have is that the chest strap doesn't tighten very far, but getting the appropriate size helps with that.

Have yet to actually dive with this BCD. However, I will say that, for my wife and me, the size recommendations were off. The size chart recommended a medium for each of us. These were definitely too small. The cumberbunds barely overlapped, the chest strap was too high, and the sides rode too high up. I exchanged them for large size and they fit as expected. I am very happy so far with what I see of the build quality and features. The only thing I would have preferred is an option for an Air2 inflator.

I am very happy with this bc. I only wish there were better drain holes in the weight pockets and storage pockets. One may find that the clips on the weight pockets take a little time to ?break in? to secure easier. I think this is actually a good thing

My wife and I both have this BCD. We've taken them on many trips now, domestic and international, and they continue to impress. It's difficult to balance "minimal travel size" with "still have all the features" but this one does the job really well. It includes a "packing strap" that helps scrunch its size for packing in a backpack or suitcase. I wouldn't store them long term that way - we store ours indoors on plastic hangers in free air - but for travel it's great. The one feature I wish they had was a long narrow pocket for your backup second stage regulator. Our solution is those hose clips that your yellow hose snaps into and then clip to a D ring, and that works fine, but I think the "pocket" solution found on other BCD's is easier to setup and better holds the mouthpiece tighter to your body to minimize drag and flopping around. That's really a minor detail, though... having it would just be like icing on the cake. I have to say, it's hard to overstate the value of bringing your own BCD's on a trip. Rental kit can be sketchy anyway, we've seen lots of worn out and poorly maintained gear around the world and that never inspires confidence while diving. With your own BCD you always know where the controls are, you know it's maintained properly, and you can relax and enjoy the dive rather than worrying about what works and what doesn't, what fits and what doesn't, etc. Strongly recommended!

I've been using this BDC for many years and I love it. I bought a second BCD because I wanted more D rings, etc. Now that I have a pair of Apex tech shorts, I sue the pockets far more than D rings, so my travel lite is getting more use.

When I bought this BCD I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. It folds up small and compact, it's lightweight and fits snugly and comfortably. I have used it just four times only on dive trips to warm water destinations (my home diving waters are cold and I need lots more weight). On the second day on my most recent trip to the Red Sea, one of the zippers on my integrated weight pocket broke. Next problem, forget about using a 15-litre tank with this BCD: it has no firm back support, and the tank literally rolls you around while diving. Sure, it has one main tank strap to secure the tank but the way it's positioned means that the tank has to sit fairly high up which results in the regulator first stage constantly bashing into the back of your head. This BCD does have a secondary tank strap higher up but once again, due to its placement on the jacket, means you cannot use it effectively without positioning your tank higher up and having your head bashed in as I mentioned above. So, the secondary strap is basically ineffective. Overall a disappointment for the amount of money laid out and not delivering on expectations.

My 2nd Cressi Travelight. Because I list 30 lbs and needed a smaller BCD. I took the time to look around at the other BCD?s on the market. As a FYI, I have over 600 dives on my previous Travelight. The value is unmatchable. Why change when I found what works awesome for me.

Nice BC but runs small. I followed the sizing chart provided but arm holes are teeny.

I have only taken this BCD diving 6 times to date, but so far it has worked perfectly. As many others have said it seems to be a bit extra buoyant as I had to add a bit of extra weight to compensate. Hopefully this resolves itself over time with more dives. It is super easy to travel with, folds back up nice and compact and fits in my carry on along with my reg. (not trusting those to checked baggage!) Looking forward to a few more dives over labor day weekend.

Nice travel BCD. I?m 6?3? and about 220 and it lifted me fine. I only use it when I fly as it is light and packs about half as big as my other local BCD.

Hard to believe how small and light it packs and yet has all the functionality of more traditional styles. Plenty of pockets, rings and nifty features. Love it!

Provisional rating, before actually using. It fits great, is light, packs small, and has everything I need. We will have to wait to see how it is in the water.

I had this BCD for about 5 years until it was recently stolen; as I'm looking for a replacement, I'm very strongly considering buying another one. Most of my experience roughly echoes what others have said here: The BC rolls up into a very small, compact package and is so easy to travel with-- that's obviously the major plus. I used it on dozens of dives and at no time did I think "this is a nice BC...for a travel BC." It was just a nice BC, period. The D rings were in the right place at the right time, and it was a very comfortable fit for me. I never experienced any of the quality control issues that some others here have written about (seams, bladder issues, etc). The one nitpick that I do agree with is the abysmal pocket design. It's a small issue, but the reverse zippers (i.e., you have to reach allll the way back to find the zipper and pull it forward to unzip) were a real pain to use. Other than that, a great overall BCD!

Love it. Great quality. I’m a Med/ large in women’s clothing, 34D bust and wear a small in this BC. I have worn this on many trips with no issues. Packs down small.

I loved this BCD for 2 years then I took it on a diving trip. Halfway through the bladder separated from the bladder where the safety second and the dump valve attach to the jacket. This appears to be a common problem with this BCD. It is super easy to pack and a joy to wear. Excellent integrated weight system. In my opinion even the storage pockets are ample and easily accessed. I gave it 3 stars because I really like the BCD other than its obvious flaw.

After much searching and trying on BCDs I purchased the Cressi Travelight Women's BCD. I have used it for local quarry and lake dives and it performs as well as any larger, bulky BCD I have ever used but it is really lightweight and packable! There are removable weight pockets with fast, pullout release and zipping pockets for additional soft weights. There are rear weight pockets. It has all the clips and attachments you could possibly need. This is a jacket BCD with a back donut, making it good for overall buoyancy control. All controls are easily operated including top and bottom dumps that are easy to grab. Best of all, this fits a female body because it was made for it. This is the most comfortable BCD I have used or tried on. The slimline fit makes mobility better while providing all of the safety features you need. I originally planned to purchase another women's BCD that I had previously worn, but the online assistant recommended the Cressi and I am thrilled. The differences are the price, weight, and extra comfort and mobility.

The Cressi Travelight is a lightweight version of a traditional jacket BCD with all around lift to provide good balance and trim under the water and support while on the surface. The overall weight of the Travelight has been reduced by careful selection of strong but light materials to allow the BCD to be packed down into a very small carry bag that is ideal for travelling The BCD bladder uses a durable internally urethane laminated 420/210-Denier nylon to provide the necessary strength without adversely affecting the weight and light alloys have been used to make the D-rings in place of traditional stainless-steel. This weight and bulk reduction do not mean that the Travelight is unable to support a full integrated weight system with trim pockets. The Cressi Travelight BCD comes with the integrated lock aid quick-release weight system that hold up to 20 lbs (9kg), with 10 lbs (4.5kg) in each pocket, and two additional rear non-releasable trim weight pockets that help increase-stability in the water.
The Travelight is also fitted with more traditional features such as a rear kidney and right shoulder pull dumps, a inflator integrated pull dump on the left shoulder and manual deflation from the inflator assembly. A large zipped pocket can be found on either side of the BCD for convenient storage of accessories. The Travelight's harness system uses traditional squeeze-style quick-release buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest and waist for precise adjustment -and fit. A hook and loop adjustable waist cummerbund provide extra security and comfort. A flexible padded back pad with twin cylinder cam bands provides good back protection and cylinder security while still allowing the BCD to be quickly folded and packed away. The BCD comes equipped with a 3/8" low-pressure hose and provides from 13.5 to 36 lbs (6.1 to 16.3kg) of lift and weighs 5 to 6.2 lbs (2.3 to 2.8kg). The Cressi Travelight BCD is available in several color options, multiple sizes and comes with an owner's manual.
