This mask actually appears to be a little more supple so it should seal even better than my "vintage" mask which never leaks. A Great Classic Design

I bought a Cressi Occhio about 35 years ago and have never even looked at another mask since then. It has low volume but good visibility and never leaks unless I have the strap too loose or too tight. It's compact and takes up very little room in my luggage. It works great for both free-diving and scuba. I bought this new Super Occhio version for my grandson and expect that he will have it for at least 35 years. Cressi makes some very good quality gear.

Good freediving mask

Great seal, super low volume mask. Comfortable but left to right peripheral vision is a bit cut. It's a bargain tho and works well overall.

Good quality

Mask is of good quality though I have not used it in the water yet. Make sure you get a snorkel with a flex tube as a solid j-type catches the mask.

An all time classic freediving mask!

This classic low volume mask was my favorite freediving mask for years before the emergence of the modern micro-mask came along. It is very comfortable and have a good range of vision. I like to wear this mask on my forehead while I am at the surface just to get a rise out of the PADI people. I can't believe they still waste class time with such nonsense... Anyway, this is a great mask that brings back memories of diving in the last century.

decent spearfishing mask

The range of vision allows you to focus on what you are looking at and limits side vision or distractions. This mask is ideal for spearfishing since it lets you focus on your prey. The silicone is harder than most masks so you dont get the suction type fit but i believe the harder silicone allows less leaks. This mask doesnt leak for me at all which is great and i always think its leaking since the bottom on the eye plastic piece holds drops of water for some reason and you think your mask is leaking but when I wipe the front of the lense its gone. The mask can get uncomfortable if you are in the water for a period of time especially if you swim underwater. I wish this mask had better range of vision, was more hydordynamic through the water and was more comfortable. The front of the mask is too bulky for me and it could be a much slimmer design. Im just happy it doesnt leak at all. I would recommend this mask for spearfishing only. I am still searching for the perfect mask but this mask will do the job for now

The Superocchio Mask has been satisfying serious free divers, spear fisherman and Scuba enthusiasts for many years. This proven Cressi classic has a small and low profile, low volume hypoallergenic liquid silicone mask skirt with a hi-tech polymer frame. The all-black silicone skirt has a double feathered edge for a perfect seal on many faces. The all-black silicone skirt also, protects the diver's eyes from unwanted back glare and distractions while spear fishing, making it the only mask to have when on the hunt!

The dual tempered glass lenses are situated close to the diver's eyes to increase the field of view in all directions. The silicone mask strap is a wide split strap design for even dispersion of pressure on the face for increased fit and comfort. The strap buckles are quick adjust buckles which make adjusting the strap fast and easy.
