Perfect Back Up

Great as a backup for the dive computer. I recommend having one in your save-a-dive kit.

Protect your dive computer, inspect the cover !

I was not being careful when replacing the battery, and broke one of the tabs that keeps the cover snug. If this leaks, it will ruin the computer, so when in doubt get a fresh cover and a spare battery.

Just a battery, but nice that they include a new cover & O-ring

While it is just a battery replacement kit (for a surprisingly difficult to find battery size), it is nice that they also included a new cover and O-ring. (Maybe they could include a tiny packet of silicone grease? Although I already had a larger container of the silicone grease, not everyone may.)

You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere, as you press the activation button on your dive computer it goes through the diagnostic screen and what do you see the "Low Batt" icon appears. The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen No Dive Computer. Don't leave on a vacation without spare batteries, why ruin a great holiday because of a few dollars in batteries. This kit works with the Cressi Leonardo/Giotto Dive Computers (see SKU's: CSBLW, CSBLWPC, PCKDCSBLW, CSBLC, CSBLC3, CSBLC3M, CSBLCM, CSBGIC, PCKCSBGIC, CSBGIC3, CSBGIC3M). Included with the kit are a 3.0-volt lithium CR2430 battery, battery hatch and battery hatch O-ring. Kit is factory approved and makes a great save-a-dive-kit item. Always pack some spares, don't forget your Dive Light needs some too!
