Questions & Answers

William A : I need these socks for my size 13 feet (men’s)—Your XL size is too small.—Do you make larger sizes for “Big Feet” ?Mario C : Thank you for your question. Though we do not make socks, some of the manufacturers we represent make larger sizes. One example is aqualung and it follows below ( size 13- XL). https://www.leisurepro.com/p-udrbenshtg/aqua-lung-ergo-neoprene-3mm-high-top-socks-with-grip Hope it helps
Shopper : Are these completely waterproof, or does some water leak inside? Would they work for keeping water out while wading or walking through very shallow water?WILLIAM M : NoJEFF H : Yes, neoprene is waterproof and these would work while wading or walking thru version shallow water. If after a while you get water, then there is a leak in a seam somewhere which can be fixed with a special glue (aqua seal or something similar) and restored back to being waterproofed... I find after many many uses that I can wear out a hole in the bottom from walking on concrete or a hole in the front from my big toe. (Again, after wearing all day in fin, diving day after day...) Note that the sole on these is quite soft, and there are other neoprene booties with thicker soles which might hold up better.JIM W : noDMITRY G : These are wet suit socks, therefore water comes inside, warms up by feet keeping warmth with no water circulation. I don't think it's good idea to use them for waddling or walking to the bottom, because are for diving with fins.
Shopper : What is the height of the sock?GERALD D : Mine are 8 1/2" from the heel seam to the top of the sock.
Shopper : If I wear 9.5 US men shoes, would I be able to fit into Medium size for this dive boots?TOMY S : Probably Large will fit better. Tomy.Steve S : Yes. The size Medium should fit you very well.MARY C : I am a women's size 71/2 and I wear a small so I would round up to a large. Good boots great price. Good luck.JEFF H : Close...I'm a 8 1/2. - 9 and they're not big...if you're close to a trip order both and return one!JOHN P : I wear 9 1/2 shoes also and they fit me just fine.KEVIN G : YesFREDERICK J : I would say that the medium boot would fit you. I wear a size 10-1/2 shoe and the large fits me well.MARCUS H : Hi. I wear 9.5 US men's shoes also. I don't like big boots inside my fins because they make it hard to get the fins off when I am trying to get in the boat. The Cressis are not what I consider boots, more like a great neoprene dive sock with a good sole for walking on the beach or on the boat. I decided to try the mediums. They are snug, but not too tight. I sure don't want a loose fit. I would not buy the large size. Nice product, good fit, very pleased with the purchase. Dive safe and well! MarcusDCTREASURES D : I wear 9.5 and my medium boots fit perfect. GREGG R : Yes, probably. These are more of a dive sock, so if that's what you are using them as, you definitely don't want them to be too big.ERVAN G : Probably not. The boots run "snug." Cheers.PETER D : I wear a US mens 9.5 to 10 depending on the shoe. I bought the medium boots, they fit wellJOHN K : I, too, wear a 9.5 men's size and this fit well. It's cut fairly nicely, too. My food is wide, but, still fits well. I wear these inside full-foot fins and it makes for a nicely snug fit (not too tight), I no longer get toe-rub, and I get a little warmth, too. They fold (because of how they are cut) very nicely for packing, too. overall, a great product.
AFXU L : My foot size 25.5cm.I should buy what size?HASSAN A : this means that your shoe size is 7 or 8 if you are diving in a cold water the boots should tight in order not to permit a lot of cold water to accumulate in the boot .. else if the water is not cold then medium size would be good ...THOMAS S : SmallCEYLON L : Try to look for the size conversion chart on Cressi's web site.JEFF H : I'm not totally familiar with non-US sizes, but I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe...and a 25.5 ski boot. I got these in medium and they fit fine.

Cressi 2.5mm dive socks

Very comfortable and easy on/off. I got two good seasons with about a hundred dives out of them before starting to wear through the toes.

Keep your feet warm.

I’m very pleased with these. They’re keeping my feet warm even now in 50 degree F water. They work fine with fins and they’re decently easy to get on and off. As a woman with size 9 1/2 narrow feet, I needed a size small. I ordered a medium based on site recommendation but had to exchange.

Favorite Socks

I've been through a few pairs of these amongst a number of other dive socks. First off these are socks, not boots. Some reviews liken them to boots, even suggesting them for open heel fins. Just... no. Definitely no. They're great socks with grippy soles. I get 1-2 years of regular use per pair before the heels wear out. They're the thickest socks I'm totally comfortable using with fins (full foot only!) as thicker socks (3-5mm) tend to be too much material between you and the foot pocket. I'm about a US8.5 and Medium fits perfect. I find the cut an ideal balance between ease of donning and form fitting the foot. Most neoprene socks are cut too 'big' (an odd shape) so they're easy to put on but the fit is horrible, some other socks mold great to your feet but are a nightmare to put on. These strike the perfect balance IMO.

Teses are awesome !

Definitely worth the money. If you are diving in cold water, adding these under your booties make a big difference. I am wearing them with a Henderson Semi-Dry suit that I got from Leisure Pro and they definitely slow down water entry.

Nice "sock" boots

I bought these to wear under 5mm neosport booties in cold water. They work very well for this purpose. There is not a zipper on these boots, but they go on easily with a pair of the xs-scuba lycra socks. They fit like thick socks and take up the extra space in my outer boots well. I think they would also be great warm water boots.

So comfortable and stylish

I bought these just before getting certified for open water. These were really comfortable inside my fins and fold up really small so they are great for a travelling diver.

Size

I purchased the large size which fit my 10 1/2 US foot just fine. These were purchased to replace my worn-out NEOsport 3mm booties because LP was out of the NEOsport booties. I like the NEOsports better because they (NEOsports) have a molded-in sole. These are more like socks and not really appropriate for much walking around. I will replace them with the NEOsport 3mm this summer.

Nice boots for cool water use.

In above 60 degree waters, these work well inside my thick soled sneakers which I wear walking in the water to prevent me from getting cut on broken bottles, fish hooks, and for pushing my sifting scoop in the sand and rocky or shell areas while detecting in the water. In under 60 degree water my feet get cold in about 30 minutes. They don't seem to make a 7mm pair of boots with real thick soles that I could use, or I would buy them. I also have the Blue Reef 5mm boots, but the soles aren't thick enough for safety. Now that the water is in the 50's, I have to wear hip boots, which are lousy to use.

great build, must have item

high quality materials used, feels great when your entering the ocean and no water is coming through. non slip material is pretty good, very comfortable, easy enough to put on and take off, overall very happy! in a perfect world for me the bottom layer would be a little thicker for when having to walk over rocks/ reef before putting fins on.

These are single-lined, thin, 2.5mm high stretch neoprene boots. The inside is lined in Metallite which makes them easy to slip on. The sole has an effective non-slip texture giving great grip on wet surfaces. They can be used with both full foot fins for greater warmth and to protect the skin from scratches and chafing, as well as with hard-soled boots, when using open-heel fins. When used in conjunction with hard-sole boots, warmth is considerably increased and if donned before your wet suit it is also easier to put on suit. All seams are sewn fro strength and durability. Non Slip 3mm boots are available in multiple sizes and are black in color.
