CHUN W : IS this bag recommended to serve as a stand alone, check in item for airline travel?  My BCD and octopus can fit in a standard, check in luggage of 24", but my fins are too long.  I do not have to pay for extra check-in luggage, so this bag would be ideal if my fins can be checked separately in this bag.CARLEEN N : You could check it in. The case is made of a softer canvas so not extremely durable but should suffice.Theo K : Most people use this bag as a extra carry on since some have Carbon blades and they like to keep an eye on these during the flight. You could check it in though.

maybe for storage...

Pretty disappointing for a bag to get to a dive site. Reminds me of a bag that a "cruise snorkel set" might come in. Its just big enough for the fins and maybe mask. not very robust and not comfortable. Personally I would like a bag that would fit weight belt, and everything else, maybe even a thin wetsuit and be comfortable going a half mile walk/climb to dive. this is not it. Softball bags are a good solution if you can find one that will fit 36" fins.

Decent bag, crazy inexpensive

Fits my neptonics long fins, snorkel, knife, extra bands and mask. Does everything I wanted for 20 bucks. I have no complaints.

Nice bag, great price!

Cressi and other "long fins" typically do not fit into a standard dive bag along with other dive gear. Therefore this fin bag keeps the long fins protected while in storage. I do not take this bag on the boat, it is just for storage purposes.

Super cool

Ahh I felt so cool wearing this on the metro to the airport with my long fins on my back. Everyone was asking me about it. It is very functional and easy to sling across your back. There is enough room to also carry weight belt, mask, snorkel, microfiber towel and other supplies along with fins. I am so glad I purchased this bag, because my long fins didn't even fit into my largest suitcase. If you are buying fins, you MUST buy this bag.

GREAT BAG

Great Bag i have had it for about 6 months. I have brought it on and 9 day dive trip in the bahamas and countless dives. It has taken a beating and still is in good condition. It is starting to fall apart slowly, but i bought it just for the 9 day trip and it has lasted longer then expected. If you are looking for a bag to last you a lifetime this may not be the best bag but the bag is awesome

Stitching fell apart on the bag and one of my fins slipped out and hit the ground. I am pretty disapointed in the bag I ended up duck taping it so I could finish my trip. All that I had in the bag was my fins, 2 masks, and 2 snorkels.
