It is hard to give this BCD a rating because I was given very bad advice from the Leisure Pro representative on the size. I am 6' tall, 205 lbs. with a waist of 34" and a belly size of 40". Don't judge, I'm a beer drinker. I was told, I would definitely need a large. Turns out I need a medium. There is no way I could ever tighten the straps enough to make this BCD fit! When I descend, It rises up into my arm pits and sloshes around throughout the entire dive. I hope the representatives see this and adjust their advice in the future. I am now selling a Cressi Aquaride Blue Pro which has only been used for 1 week in Bonaire. Unless Leisure Pro will take this one back. Remember folks, when someone asks for advice, they are asking for GOOD advice not bad advice. Otherwise, this seems to be a good BCD.

In March 2020 I bought a Cressi AQUARIDE Jacket motivated by the excellent quality of your products such as your wetsuits, masks among others. After 33 dives the jacket is wearing away quite badly. The jacket wear is so bad that it seems the seams will burst. Likewise, in the last dive one of the side rings where the octopus holder and other stuff is anchored broke and I lost it on the bottom of the sea alongside with the octopus holder (plastic part that came with the BCD)

4 stars. Advanced, Nitrox, Rescue, and Underwater Hunter diver has a few season's experience with this great Cressi BCD. First, Leisure Pro: Great business model = the best! BCD, positives: Style, comfort, fit, durability, color fastness (still looks and performs like new), expandability for two tank clamping bands, excellent ballast weight system, 8 Stainless Steel D rings, 3 Dump Valves, removable cummerbund, supplied "hose control clip". Jacket style = keeps diver upright when inflated at surface, with ample buoyancy. BCD, negatives: Not very "streamlined". Super full featured = increased weight (travel consideration). Front weight system intrudes into / limits available pocket space. Trim pocket securement method inadequate. WARNING: If you invert in this BCD, your t.p. plastic snap will likely release, resulting in the loss of a t.p. ballast weight! This happened to me twice in Cozumel, on different dives, losing 2 x 2# lead weights. I contacted Cressi about this "design flaw", then modified my own closure system. Unknown whether this was changed from plastic snap on strap design. Bummer if you are away from a supply of weights! "I wish it had": Reliable trim pocket closure system. Dive knife mounting system, non-proprietary. Storage pocket zippers that zipped open in the opposite direction (front to back instead of back to front). The storage pockets slightly more forward.. for: easier to see and reach. Summary: Of 3 BCD's owned, this is by far the best. Justifiably, this BCD gets outstanding reviews from professional diving equipment reviewers... check it out. It is nearly perfect!

This was my first time buying my own BCD, and the Cressi Aquaride Pro is perfect for me. It's comfortable and adjustable, and the pockets and D rings are perfect for mounting gear. I had considered a travel BCD but I'm quite happy with this one as it's still light and easy to fold overall, but feels extremely durable. I honestly can't think of anything I'd change on it.

love it so far, plenty of pockets and D rings. I have only used it for three dives. Quality and fit is great I'm 5'8" and 190 and it is plenty big but works great.

Tried it at a local freshwater scuba facility yesterday. Had no problems. The weight sleeves snap in securely. Four lbs in each and a couple of smaller weights in the back pockets worked great to keep me upright on surface and submerge easily. Easy to adjust for fit.

Have done about 10 dives with it and am happy. I have been using as a travel BC. Although a bit heavier then a travel BC, I like the rigid backplate. Love the integrated weights. Very comfortable. I'm 5'9" 205 lbs and bought a large. Fit is spot on. Lots of metal D-rings. The only downside is the side pockets are a little awkward to get to as they are situated a bit far back. Overall I would buy again.

Purchased this to replace an older Aeropro model which is no longer supported by Cressi. Fit was good, no slippage when submerged. Pockets are large and easily accessed, numerous D rings well placed. Weight pockets quite similar to the Aeropro's but not as bulky (took up less room in the dive bag)with the locking system easy to use. Tank strap easy to adjust and held the tank firmly. Lift was adequate. Overall, the BCD is lighter than the previous one, simply due to the material utilized, took some time in getting used to the flexibility.I would recommend this item for any diver looking for a general use BCD and would purchase it again

I just used my new BCD for 10 days in Palau. It worked very well. Its tough, has lots of D rings and big pockets and the weight pockets click in solidly. While advertised as a travel BCD it is actually mid weight when compared to other jackets, however, it folds very flat. I used 2 lbs. less weight than I needed with my rental jackets. Overall I'm vey pleased with it. That fact that I purchased it on sale for $330.00 made it a no brainer. Two minor complaints: The mouth piece for manual inflation is small, hard and very difficult to seal while blowing. It might not be possible with numb lips. I'm now looking for a rubber mouth piece I can add. Not sure if I'll be successful... Also, the help desk suggested I purchase a medium. It was too small and they did exchange it. However, the fit charts suggest I get a medium I'm 5'11", 210lbs, 36" waist, 44" chest. The large fits fine and when I loosen the chest straps its easy to slide in and out of

I purchased this BCD as my very first, and I couldn't be happier. It's comfortable and well designed. I took it on a refresher course and discovered I had no issues at all keeping almost perfectly neutrally buoyant. Well thought out and a great deal!

Great full featured jacket-style BC at a great price. Lots of metal D rings. Large pockets to store a light or safety sausage. Trim pockets. After trying on several others, this was the one that fit my tall and skinny frame.

I bought this vest and went straight to the Keys to check it out. This is my first weight-integrated BCD and I'm loving the trim pockets! The pockets are ample and secure, the octopus clip is perfectly located, there are many places to clip on gear and the fit is generous! This is a great piece of gear for a great price!

I love this BCD. Great fit, well made, very comfortable and I love the integrated weights. I almost bought the lighter weight version but after chatting with Leisure Pro "on line" person who was incredible helpful, I went with the more substantial vest. Frank, in customer service was also extremely helpful. This company and their support personnel are great to work with. Thanks Leisure Pro. This is definitely my "go to" place for Scuba gear.

I bought this BCD because of all the good reviews and I was not disappointed. This BCD has lots of D-rings, large pockets, floats well at the surface, and it's very comfortable. I'm very happy with this BCD, and I recommend it to anyone who likes this style.

Last weekend I dove with the Aquaride Blue. It is extremely comfortable and that's an understatement. Far more comfortable than the back inflate style that I've been using. Of course they are totally different BCDs and I get that but the comfort level of the Cressi can't be overstated. I also love the control that this BC gives me. On the surface it's wonderful. I can be vertical, laid back, leaning forward and it never tries to push me in one direction or the other. I love it. The inflater is also quite nice. Very sensitive with quick sharp bursts of air. Extremely easy to get and stay neutral. Weight release system is very nice also. Easy to secure the pockets with a sharp click providing conformation. Cressi did a good job with this one. Great travel BCD. It's a keeper. Good looking also. Some good compliments on it from other divers. Plenty of D-rings. Frank from Leisure Pro is totally outstanding. He's been so helpful and easy to work with. Frank knows his stuff. Leisure Pro is simply great. Can't say enough good things about this store. Great prices on everything. I purchased regs, an octo, gauges and this BCD and Frank really took care of me. Great stuff.

Have had this BCD for a month now, used it on about 10 dives and really enjoy it. Easy to get into, comfortable, adjusts well and has plenty of pocket space for whatever. Love the color and feel on this BCD. No issues whatsoever and would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

The Cressi Aquaride Blue Pro BCD is a dual-purpose BCD that is great for travel and so incredibly versatile, it can be used for a wide assortment of diving It's light and can be compacted enough to be packed for your warm water trip to the tropics. But it also houses enough lift, weight capacity and room for maneuverability to be used with a dry suit in cold-water conditions. It's an all-around BC for any occasion.
The Aquaride Blue Pro is constructed with durable 420-denier nylon and can stand up to the daily use of a professional diver. But any level of diver can use this BCD; it's trimmed down style makes for easy usage and comfort. The Blue Pro features a hard-pack frame with plenty of padding for comfort and offers adjustable shoulder straps that are unaffected by the air bladder for a better fit. This also makes the BCD incredibly easy to don. For even more comfort, the cummerbund and chest strap are elastic so even when your air bladder is full, you're still feeling comfortable. The Aquaride Blue Pro also incorporates three dump valves for any position you may encounter; two shoulder valves and rear waist valve. Plus, the new integrated lock aid system is a super smooth; secure integrated weight system with a quick and easy release mechanism. The releasable pockets accommodate 20 lbs (9kg) of weight
Although travel and dual purpose are usually trimmed down on the accessory side the Aquaride Blue Pro does not heed this information. It incorporates non-releasable weight trim pockets on the tank strap with a capacity of 8 lbs (3.6kg) of lead for better buoyancy control. Six stainless-steel D-rings are readily available for all your gadgets. The Blue Pro also provides two generously large zippered pockets to house all your additional accessories. The Cressi Aquaride Blue Pro BCD is a fantastic all-around BCD that can be used by divers of all levels and can be your one and only BCD for any type of diving you choose to do. Adjustable sternum straps along with both torso adjustment and waist straps are equipped with squeeze-style side release buckles for easy donning and doffing This jacket style BCD provides 18 to 42.7 lbs (8.2 to 19.4kg) of lift depending on size. Buoyancy control is facilitated with Cressi's power inflator equipped with a standard with a 3/8" threaded low pressure quick disconnect hose. The BCD weighs from 7 to 8.3 lbs (3.2 to 3.8kg) depending on size and comes with an owner's manual.
