Great dry-suit hood for warm water

Great hood. I bought this to wear with a one-piece wetsuit when diving in warmer water here in the summer. Fits great, warm enough for 65 to 72 degree water, and it works well with my Guardian FFM.

Bare 3mm Neoprene Hood

Hood material is very unforgiving and is very uncomfortable due to too much pressure in the chin area. Followed sizing guidelines even stepping up to the next size. If you have no chin, I guess it would work. I gave it three stars as it is constructed fairly well. Going back to Henderson!!

A pleasant to wear hood for warm water

Got one of these a year ago for all my warm water diving (70 F and warmer). It's very soft and feel great when wearing so used it a lot and now bought another one for future. The only minor problem is wearing it when using a DPV: the hood is so soft that an intense water flow can move it off ones forehead.

Great for cold water paddlesports (and probably surfing)

I bought about 7 different hoods to try out for the purpose of rolling my kayak in cold water. I returned 5. Along with one other I kept the Bare. Although I have yet to use it in cold water, warm water tests suggest that it does a good job of limiting water entry. And unlike most hoods I tried, it does not feel like your face is in a vice (which may be needed for scuba but not for my purposes). Along with a newly purchased drysuit, I am now looking forward to winter paddling.

Great layer for warmer waters

Kept me warm in 78 deg with cooler thermoclines at Cocos, with a 5/4 full suit. Fit true to measurements, 22 inch head and the medium fits. Its easy to slide on. It's looser and has a larger face opening than the Bare 5 and 7 mil cold water hood. There is no vent and it floats around a bit but works fine.
