Great light - more than adequate for day and night diving. Nifty case that added benefit for travel. Only downside was received the extra battery that was corroded and inoperable. Would have been nice if thru sent me a replacement

Great little light. Over the two years I've owned it, it's been dropped, slammed into coral. rocks, and tanks and thrown to the bottom of the dive bag. Keeps on working. The light dims gradually and won't step up to the highest setting if the battery is depleted. This ensures you know it's discharged. Other lights simply stop working without warning once the voltage drops below a certain level. Unless the light has a battery level indicator, this sudden cut out is a problem. Since this light does not have a battery level indicator, it's nice to know it is depleted based on the change in function. This is a matter of personal preference. Some don't mind a light that goes from 100% output one minute to OFF the next with no warning. Lastly, like a lot of lights, the eyelets where you can tie a bolt snap are a bit on the sharp side. Use some 400 or 600 grit sand paper to ease that edge or else the light will cut through most cave line used to tie bolt snaps. I have abandoned use of typical cave line in some diving applications. Instead I use spear fishing line. No stretch, very strong, highly abrasion resistant. Jury is still out on it's universal application but it's much tougher than typical cave line we divers use.

It may be too early to tell for a push button light but, so far it is working great. The button is much easier to turn on and off compare to the twisting of the earlier lights. The brightness is rated at 970 lumens but I don't see a difference from the 1000 lumen lights. The reason I say, "too early to tell for a push button light" is because my wife and I have had a few "Push Button" lights and all the switches stopped working by the 25th dive. That's after a fresh water rinse after every dive.

Worked ok on land. As soon as it went under water, it stopped working. When I resurfaced, took it apart, reassembled, it started working again. The only way to get it to work (once) was to turn it on on land and keep it on until diving. This worked once. After I removed the battery to charge it, reassembled it, it never worked again.

I like the light but water has some how gotten inside the on, off button, it still works for now, but you can hear the water trapped inside when you turn it on. There are only 22 dives on it and the deepest dive I did with this light was 113 feet. Not sure how long it will last.

Got the light, charged the battery and it seemed to work fine. Getting things together for a dive trip, checked the light and the switch doesn’t operate properly. I have other Orca torches that work great, must have got a lemon with this one

Overall, pretty satisfied with this light. Not too big, pretty bright, push button a plus (I'm done with lights that need to be twisted to be turned on, especially since I consistently use a soft Goodman glove). My complaints about the light are relatively minor. The charger is fairly cheaply made; just feels lite and flimsy. The Goodman glove that comes with it is also flimsy. I use the light on a Raider Light Sock by OxyChek. Finally, wish the push button would click with a little force to turn on. Couple of times, I've turned the light on just be bending my wrist and inadvertently touching the button. But solid light with great run time and brightness.

I haven't actually used mine, but I have used my buddy's, that's why I bought this one. Very bright. Comes in a nice case for storage.

Maybe I just got a defective model, but once I put in the battery, the light turned on really bright, which is great. Then, you're supposed to be able to push the button again to cycle through the modes and then eventually turn it off. Well... this did not work as designed. Sometimes I was able to turn off with a push and hold, but not every time. I returned it and went with the Blue Reef Orca Torch D500.
