Works as expected however it was described by chat support as one that can be filled from the bottom by a regulator. It cannot.

Next time I would go for the 36? version. The large one is a pain to inflate.

High quality, sturdy construction. Great visibility in waves. Fully inflates with just a few breaths. Difficult to dry out completely if you get water inside. Overall a premium SMB

Works well, open ended with OPV and inflator, but huge, needs more gas to inflate, and doesn't pack well.

I purchased this product because it was required to have for my open water certification. It worked as described - easy to inflate by mouth on the surface, easy to deflate and most importantly, easy for the boat captain to see! I like that it has a sleeve for a glow stick and it also includes a whistle.

I just received the deluxe version. It looks well made and as advertised with one exception. The description says "Top D-Ring for Attachment of Light, Strobe or Chemical Light when Night Diving" but there is no D-Ring. There is only a clear plastic sleeve attached to the top edge that will hold a chemical light stick. I won't use those but it looks pretty simple to modify the sleeve and attach my own D-Ring.

Haven’t done a dive with it yet, but looks like it will be a good safety device to have if my buddy and I drift away from the boat. Good price, too.

Love the product as it has three ways to inflate! I LOVE the bright yellow.

It's a very nice roll but will be too heavy for the average "pocket safety roll." It's a serious safety tube, but kind of large.

I use it for drift dives and if i ever need it in an emergency. Its easy to deploy and easy to store. Seems like a sturdy design that wont fall apart.

this is a great marker well constructed, it will inflate easily and has a nice dump valve, can inflate by mouth or use 2nd stage air, Wish it had reflective strips but those can be added. Add a mirror , whistle and good signaling light and you should be ready if that emergency situation occurs

I'll start by saying that if you dive at all, you SHOULD be carrying an SMB every single time. I've used a dozen or so different sausages, but am definitely sold on the design, fit and function of this particular one. The high-vis yellow is easily identifiable, it inflates easily, has a very simple to use dump valve to deflate and drain water, great oral inflation valve, rolls up nicely, etc...etc... I use this SMB almost daily, I'm an Instructor in Thailand...the only downside I can find is they aren't available here or I'd buy a second one.

I'm sure there is a "better quality" SMB out there that you could buy, but this one is ideal for what I use it for. I just wanted something to carry as a signal device for lake diving and spear gunning. I also like that it is a little bit longer than some of the other cheap markers out there.

Use it mostly for drift dives, inflate with octopus. Price is excellent for this product, as someone stated before, if you are to get one, get this one. Fits well in my BCD pocket or hanging on my D ring with spool.

The thing is built better than the cheap ones and has better functionality. If you're going to get one, get a good one, like this one...

I purchased this item in preparation for my annual trip to Cozumel. This is a very important item to use on any dive especially all the drift dives of Coz. After the first dive, It filled up with water. This repeated itself on all dives thereafter. I had to resort to my smaller safety sausage. DO NOT BUT THIS ITEM!!!!!!!!

This is a great signal that I use all the time as a divemaster when guiding my groups on drift dives. This signal can be inflated at depth with a regulator or octopus, and it WILL fully inflate and WILL NOT pull you to the surface. With that said...properly launching a signal does take a bit of practice so I can see why some reviewers stated the contrary.

This is a great basic SMB. The 6' length makes it very visible and rolled up it is not too bulky at all! The dump valve works well as well as the manual inflation system. I have not tried inflating it via the octo although you can do this. Clips away neatly with the included clip. It takes quite a few breaths to inflate manually but that is typical of a 6' tube. Construction is solid.

Appears to be great quality

Haven't tried it in the water yet; however at least on land, I'm very impressed with the features and quality of construction. It seems large even when rolled up; however, that will make it more visable.
Blue Reef Diver Below Deluxe 6' (1.83m) Signal Tube:
The Blue Reef "Diver-Below" Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is a great safety device that all serious divers carry on every dive. The SMB is the smart way for a diver to mark their location when making safety stops, completing mandatory decompression stops and signaling the boat if they surface a distance away from the boat. This 6' (1.83m) long signal tube can be stowed easily in a large pocket or clipped out of the way on your BCD. When the SMB is inflated it is long enough to be easily seen from a distance and sturdy enough to stand up to any weather conditions you may encounter. It is also conveniently labeled with "DIVER BELOW" so you can send it up to mark your location.
The SMB features an easy to use oral inflation valve with lock to prevent accidental deflation as well as a larger over-pressure/dump valve. The SMB is also equipped with a D-ring at the top for attachment of a light, strobe or chemical light for use at night. This deluxe model also features a special "no spill" second stage inflation option for quick and easy inflation from any second stage regulator. The SMB also comes equipped with a 360-degree swivel gate clip and all edges are taped for reinforcement and durability. Blue Reef's SMB's are available in multiple colors. Don't risk not being seen in an emergency, pick up a Diver-Below SMB today.
