If you are diving around Florida or Mexico or, well, anywhere in the Gulf and Caribbean and you have the slightest bit interest in ocean biology, well, this is a MUST HAVE. I brought this little guy in my dive bag on boat trips and everyone would crowd around after dives to try and figure out just what was that little creature (non-fish) that we just saw. Now, the material is not perfectly waterproof, especially in saltwater environs, but it is resistant needs to be sprayed/wiped down if it got wet, then the pages need to be dried open- sounds like common sense. Now, it's not comprehensive, it couldn't possibly be. It is designed as a travel companion and serves as a primer to the larger Reef Creature book.
