I didn't keep a log book for the first 40 years that I was diving and found that some shops wanted to see one and it was helpful to keep track of dive sites and weights used and current etc., etc. I have been keeping one the last 20 years and use this small book and find that it has all the space I need and it is waterproof, well sort of, too.

Basic but will do the job and at a great price. Smaller size so it won't take up much room in your bag.

The concept is fine, but every pen that I've tried either bleeds or smears making the book relatively useless. Also, typical divemaster's stamps bleed into illegibility. I won't be getting another one.

All you really need to record dives with a minimum amount of information. Simple, concise, and easy to read.

I am used to using a log book that has a 5"x 7" page per dive. I had read the reviews, and knew this log book didn't have as much space, but it's difficult making the change and recording a lot less information per dive. If you are satisfied with a really brief description of your dive, then consider this log book. If you prefer to record more details, look for something else. Also, the pages are difficult to write on. Having tried several ballpoint pens with poor results, I resorted to a fine-tip permanent marker pen which worked fine.

I was looking for a small simple log book to replace the NAUI one that I keep in my mask box for travel. This is just that: simple, basic, entry information for recreational divers that want a simple log of their dives and a place to put a stamp. If you only want to spend 3 minutes on your log book, this works fine. 32 log entries will unfortunately serve me for a few years. This is not waterproof, but who cares? get a Ziplock.

This is my 5th log book like this. It works very well. I can log each dive and write in what was seen on the dive.

Purchased because this dive log is compact, inexpensive and free shipping. It's a basic log with not too much detail. Could use a line to record water temperature and another line or two for comments. Bottom line: a functional, no frills log book. Pages are waterproof but I never carry my log books on dive boats, etc.

A good compact book that has the basics for the traveller.

Many of the blocks per page are setup for unnecessary categories. I tend to record ALL dives on a given day in a single "dive block". That way I can log far more dives than the 55 total dive blocks would allow. We're not writing a book here, just recording useful information.

I love this log book because it weighs nothing and takes up no space in my suitcase--so much nicer than those huge logbooks. But the bar code sticker on the front can't be removed without marring the book. It's one of those stickers that leaves behind a sticky residue. And so your choices are to leave the sticker on (a diver's Mini Pearl statement, perhaps), leave the sticky stuff (which attracts dirt and sticks to everything else) or use something to remove the sticky stuff, thus also removing the red ink and leaving a white patch.

Divers are required to log their dives for proof of experience; this handy 32 page waterproof 4.5" x 6" (11.43cm x 15.24cm) 55 diver log book allows you to write down the important information while you're still wet, thus eliminating the possibility of forgetting important facts about the dive and instrument readings included in logging a dive. Why wait until you're more likely to forget something, so "get-r-done." Wherever you go diving you need to have proof of diving experience. Without it you can be left behind on more experienced dives when you are qualified to make them.
Make sure you log all your dives and carry your log book when on a diving vacation. This 32 waterproof paper page log book provides all the important requirements for properly logging dives and information for preforming repetitive dives. Log book provides information pages for certifications, equipment and has historical date log on cover once all pages are full. Log book cover has an eye-catching traditional red & white diver-down-flag" logo for easy identification.
