Fantastic log book. Some detail essentials not very much per dive. Space for dive stamps on each dive. Good news can get 165 dives in one book, 5 dives every two page sides. Great if you want to track dive numbers with minimal details.

I love this log book style. I've had 3. But, this one came in a terrible maroon color. It should be the color of a dive flag and it's not even close.

Small enough to carry, tracks the most important information, durable enough to last.

I've been using this model of dive logbook since 1988. With over 150 dives logable in this book, I find it to be the best option for recreational divers who might later decide that they want to pursue professional career in diving. As with pilots, one's experience and judgment is often evaluated -- at least initially -- by the quality of the records kept. For each dive, this logbook provides space for all standard information and a few lines to denote memorable moments. I augment the logbook with a separate notebook, in which I record more detailed notes, like dive debrief observations and site sketches. And, while I also use electronic dive logs with my dive computer, I am a firm believer in low-tech back-ups (hardcopies) when electronics fail; and they do! For added protection against moisture, I keep my logbook in a 1-gallon zip-lock freezer bag along with my NDC tables and fish ID plates. I also made a small pocket in the inside front flap of the logbook for my dive card, DAN card and local fill cards, etc., using a ziplock snack bag and some packing tape. You can also use the logbook's extra pages to insert printed weight-tables and other useful information for ready access needs. In short, this is the only logbook for me. And don't forget to periodically scan or photocopy your completed pages, just in case your logbook goes missing.

This log book is great - enough room to log the detail you need, unless you want to wrtie a book on each dive that is! - no wasted space Lots of dives in one log book..... :)

I keep an electronic desktop log of my dives, downloading the profile from the dive computer and an extensive description of the dive. This paper log however allows me to collect the stamps from the dive operators, which otherwise would have no place to go. I keep the details of the dive in the paper log to a minimum, so it's writing space and layout isn't that important. This log holds about 150 dives.

I purchased 2 of these for my dive buddy and me but the SSI school we're attending wouldn't allow us to use them because they are not SSI brand. I like that this dive log is compact but it doesn't have separate categories for different levels. (ie. snorkeling, diver, advanced diver,...)

Logs the important statistics and observations and doesn't take much time to record a dive. Sometimes I would like more room when I see a lot of good things, but it's a good compromise.
