About Advanced Elements StraitEdge2 Inflatable Kayak
The StraitEdge2 Kayak is a 13' (396.25cm) sit-on-top tandem kayak that incorporates an aluminum bow and stern frame to improve tracking in open water conditions. Its self-bailing ports can be opened in rough conditions and closed in calm or cold conditions making a kayak that can be paddled in up to class III whitewater with improved trackability on open water. Three seating positions allow for the kayak to be set up in solo or tandem mode.
Hull Design:Built-in aluminum ribs define the bow and stern and improve tracking. Versatile:Set-up as self-bailing in bigger waves and close ports in calm or cold water. Easy to Set Up:Pre-assembled at the factory. Simply unfold, inflate and attach the seat. Comfortable:High support, adjustable padded seats provide comfort for hours of paddling. Durable:Heavy-duty PVC tarpaulin material with radio frequency (RF) welded seams for extreme puncture resistance. Advanced Elements spring valve for easy inflation and deflation. Integrated pressure relief valve in floor. Rod holders for the fishing enthusiast. Molded rubber handles, reinforced bow seam, bungee deck lacing and adjustable back support. Kayak has mesh pockets for item storage.
The StraitEdge2 Kayak measures (L x W) 13' x 35" (396.25cm x 89cm), weighs 47 lbs. (21 kg), is designed for 1 to 2-persons with a maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs. (227 kg). The boat is a 5-chamber design for added safety. When folded the kayak measures (L x W x D) 39.5" x 18" x 12.75" (100.3cm x 45.7cm x 32.4cm) providing portability: No roof rack needed! Pack in the trunk of your car or fly it to remote destinations. Included with the kayak are a carry duffel bag, 2-folding seats, repair kit and owner's manual. Boat is yellow and gray in color.
