I like the shoes, they drain well are comfortable and grip on rocks is very good. Even on wet rocks which on my Salmon river trip I very much wanted.

These water shoes are very versatile and can be worn casually after you leave the water. Great crossover shoe that I would highly recommend. I typically wear a size 10 1/2 but the size 10 fit me perfectly.

After a decade of size 10 ankle height NRS neoprene kayak booties, they really started squeezing my feet. During those years, I found I never needed their insulating qualities, and that they took a ridiculously long time to dry. Combing the marketplace, I saw these Atral Loyaks, a totally different approach to kayak shoes. They are more casual looking, are a shoe not a mid-bootie, fit my feet much more comfortably in size 10, have laces rather than being form fitted with a Velcro strap, have drain holes and the materials used breathe and dry much better. The only downside I can identify with the Loyaks is that (as I expected) the the overall profile of the soles are less conforming to the outlines of my foot than the neoprene booties, making available toe room in my 17' Impex Currituck sea kayak cockpit is just a bit more confining. However, the benefits of of the Loyaks, in my opinion, were well worth this small trade off. They were reasonably priced as well.

I absolutely love these shoes. Plenty of room in the toe box and comfortable on the heal. They Are a little tight on the top of my foot, but each time I wear them they get more comfortable. The grip on wet surfaces is outstanding.

They are very comfortable once I got them on. I almost had to pull out my shoe horn, it was a struggle. But once they were on they were like slippers. Haven't been in the water with them yet, just wore them around my house.

Fit is good and the sizing seems to be true to size. Other Astral shoes I've tried seem to run small. These are a bit hard to get on and sometimes seems like they may tear when I'm trying to pull them on. Once wearing them I'm happy. Due to the difficulty getting into them I tend to "flat tire" them around camp. The thin soled does allow me to wear them in a pretty small kayak but is a bit thin for rougher side hikes.
