Always in my whitewater IK

My partner & I both rely on these for being firmly grounded in our whitewater IK's. Have proven to take a lot of abuse & remain durable. After some years a pin-sized hole needed to be repaired, but was easy with recommended aire tape.

Nice and stable

works great. I am using it on my Tomcat Solo. Previously I was using my old seat thwart as a foot brace since I upgraded to the Cheetah seat. This is nicer only because the connections are the same. My seat is now being used on our other inflatable with different valves.

Adding thigh straps and brace to this Raven 1, makes it basically in a pro upgrade. Brace, adjusts easy and is a simple component.

Quality brace.

Well made and durable. I positioned it so I can pretty much lock myself into the kayak which is what I wanted. I can also get out quickly if all hell breaks loose

I don't use thigh straps and having a stationary (as opposed to my dry bag!) foot brace in place is great. Gives me that little extra bit of security in the IK.

Almost Perfect...Almost.

I use this as an inflatable foot brace for my Aire Lynx inflatable kayak. Its a great product that provides secure and durable footing, but I have been very frustrated when inflating it. This foot brace has Halkey-Roberts valves while the rest of the boat uses Leafield valves. I know its a small distinction, but it requires removal of adapters, etc. If Aire wanted to perfect this product, standardized valves would be a great starting point.
