Seems to be well put together and did the job well. I like that the buckle closer is firm and does not feel like it will open without intentionally doing so.

OK quality. Too short for me with expanding gut and lot's of weights (I'm about 36"). I bought a longer web and swapped the buckle to it

Great weight belt. Have used the dive centers provided belts in the past but you never know what or how long you are going to get. Now that I have my own I never have to worry about that anymore. I use 14 lbs 2 black and 2 yellows, my waist is 36 and use a 3 mm suit, fits and still have some left over.

I'm use to a Dacor metal buckle. Used the webbing only on a Dacor buckle. Didn't like the way this buckle closed. Would not buy again

Very stiff to close! Very easy to release, I'm concerned about it releasing at depth

Don't buy this, get something of higher quality! Basically you get a long piece of 2" nylon and a buckle. There is no stitching to prevent the buckle from slipping, the strap just threads through it. The buckle itself is not great quality. The tabs that hold the middle piece in, what you fold down to close it, are barely in the holes on the sides. This cannot be fixed, they are very short. If you pulled with a bit of strength, the middle could easily pop out. Not really a good thing when you have weights attached to it. Other buckles I've seen, even cheap ones, have a bar between the two holes and the middle attaches to the bar. This bar would have to shear in order for the buckle to fail. Much better than the one on this weight belt. The bottom line is I cannot trust this as a weight belt, the buckle is too weak.

Needs another slot on the buckle to weave the belt through so the web belt does not slip out.

Good alternative to a wader belt. the 2 inch nylon is as secure and the trust worthy quick relaese clasp also works well.

This belt was needed in addition to my BCD weights, works great, wish I didn't need it, but cold water dictates the need.

Take off a pound of lead if the buckle is too heavy! Why not put a bit of the weight to work, holding the silly thing closed? Were you hoping for titanium? It costs 10x as much and makes no sense at all! (I'm sure it will be available soon. ;-)

Standard issue weight belt, with stiff 2" nylon webbing and a sturdy stainless steel buckle. It works exactly as it should--you thread lead weights into it. I prefer weight belts over integrated weights, and am very happy with this one. This is a great price for a very utilitarian product.

Stainless buckles are heavy! If I had thought about it, I would have gone with plastic even though the colour I wanted wasn't available.

Excellant works great and easy to use
You like the independent use of a weight belt over weight integrated BCD's it allows you to use weight when snorkeling or diving with more versatility. If you already have a belt and prefer having pre-strung belts for various dive situations or like having a spare this traditional (L x W) 58 x 2" (147.3 x 5cm) nylon webbing weight belt with corrosive resistant latch style stainless-steel buckle is what you need. Belt is available in multiple colors.
