So I read some of the reviews before I chose this belt. They seemed OK but when I got the belt couldn't figure out how to use it. After struggling for a couple hours decided to bring to the seamstress in town were she did some sewing as I instructed by me and now the belt works perfect. Oh 80 bucks to sew because its not regular material. If I was you leisure pro I would get rid of this belt and get a reasonably priced , OK higher priced within reason and something that really works.

I've been away from diving for a number of years. Since my midsection has grown I was concerned about keeping my wightbelt in place. This works! No slipping or tugging. The only grip, no instructions or a diagram. Luckily my non-diving wife figured it out in seconds.

These suspenders are the perfect solution to weight belts sliding off your hips. They are easy to use and lightweight.

Finally I needed to distribute my lead weights to make my end of dive more manageable. I had 34lbs on my intergrated weight pouches so my tank with BCD fully inflated just barely floated at the surface. Now I can wear a weight belt that doesn't slide off my waist to my knees. A bit harder to dump your weights in an emergency but with a little practicing you should be able to handle it. The belt material is 2inches wide and similar to your first rental weight belt, buckles are plastic- can change to metal buckles later when they wear out. This suspender belt should last me a long time. Since my BCD tends to push the weight belt downwards, I wished the lengths of belt material was another 12inches longer on both sides. But it still worked OK.

These suspenders hold my weight belt where it belongs: evidently where my waist used to be. At 6'2" 220# with a 40" waist my weight belt was slipping down when using a full farmer john wetsuit. Thw suspenders hold the weight belt where it belongs until I learn better technique, lose more weight and regain a smaller waist. Meanwhile I need more weight on the weight belt and will be continuing to utilize the suspenders.

When I got them out of packaging, I noted there were no instructions whatever on setup or use. They were a bit confusing to figure out. However, once I did figure out how to use them, I found the weight suspenders to be EXACTLY what I needed. No more weight-belt sliding down to my knees.

Great Product. As a Public Safety Diver, I am in alot of different environments, and the one thing that was hardest for me was the amount of weight required to dive the Viking Dry Suits. The belt itself is too heavy, and it seemed I fought with it all the time. With these suspenders, no more problems. Love it!

Great product to keep the weights off the hips and prevents that saggy belt feeling especially on those long hikes to my favorite abalone site.

Really takes the weight load off the hips and you don't get that saggy belt feeling when doing those long hikes to that special ab site.

My 30 lb. wieght belt kept sliding down and pulling my trunks down. Not good when I fix swimming pool leaks and the pool owners are usually standing by. These suspenders stopped that problem and took all the stress off my hips and lower back. This was a great purchase.

Now I can finally dive without having to constantly pull my weight belt back up. They are a pain to get situated on the belt between the weights, and complicate weight ditching, but the pros outweigh the cons for me. Once on, they make a weight belt very comfortable and it stays put.

Belt Suspenders work great
By GREG L.
Aways had trouble with my belt falling down my hips tell I started using the suspenders.
Do you find that your weight belt always slips, and never wants to stay around your waist, suspenders work for pants, so it makes sense that they will work for your weight belt? Don't make another dive with your weight belt slipping around your thighs. Prevent this problem for good with these weight belt suspenders.
Suspenders are made of durable nylon webbing for strength and durability. Your weight will be evenly distributed with both front and back suspension, along with no compromise when it comes to safety with the two Delrin quick-release latch style weight belt buckles. Suspenders work well with extra heavy lead requirements, works with hard or soft weight belts and are excellent for dry suit diving.
