Fussy about weights

I do not like integrated BCD/weight systems. I like a neoprene belt and simple buckle. After many years, my old belt needed replacement and I decided to replace the buckle at same time. This replacement is fine. Solid, secure, simple.

Good strong buckle for a real good price. Holds firmly and the material is thick stainless steel ,should last an eternity.

Gets the job done!

Since weight belts are the first thing you ditch in a crisis, I don't see any reason to spend a lot of money on the buckle. This buckle does the job it is intended to....fasten a web belt with weights together! Buckles like these have been used in diving for 40 years, so how can you go wrong?

Doesn't work with the rubber weight belt

i bought this to use with a rubber weight belt, but oh well.

Did not work for me......

Tried to use this with the Omer rubber belt I purchased at LP. Problem is that while the belt fits in the buckle the buckle will not close all the way to secure itself. Good product, but not for use with the rubber belt.

I like the strength

A plastic buckle I was using during a dive broke, when I put on my backup weight belt that broke also. I don't see that happening with the stainless steel buckle!

I would purchase this item again.

I purchased a new weight belt that came with a "plastic" buckle that didn't feel right to me. I replaced it with this stainless steel buckle which is more durable and securely locks in position. I feel much more secure using this weight belt now! Thank You Leisure Pro!

What can i say?

This buckle works as described. I expected it to be a little more "heavy duty". It is defenately much better than the plastic buckle that i had before. Leisure Pro should start to carry the Pinnalce buckle.

You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere and as your camming your weight belt buckle in place your buckle breaks! The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen no weight belt! Don't leave on a vacation without a spare weight belt buckle. Why ruin a great holiday because of a few dollars! Always pack a spare! Buckle is made of corrosion resistant stainless-steel. Buckle threads easily to standard 2" (5cm) nylon webbing or rubber weight belt.
