DANIEL M : Does the rope (braided nylon) float?JIM G : Never had to use it. The nylon rope will probably have a neutral buoyancy much like a ski rope, but the bag should have a positive buoyancy for a while as it will retain some air.KEVIN L : Yes it does.

Throw line comes in 200-Denier Oxford nylon bag. Bag is bright orange with carry strap and noncorrosive squeeze-style" quick-release buckle. Line has a corrosion resistant stainless-steel gate clip attached to the end of the rope for quick and easy attachment. The bags closure is a barrel slide lock fastener for easy access.
