Put it on the floor and seated my 80cf Aluminum tank on top, pushed lightly and it went on easily but stays on firmly. Looks well made. I would buy more.

If you are going to dive and do not want chase your tank all over the boat I would suggest you get them if mounted right they will keep your tank in place

Does what it needs to do...it protects the bottom of the tank when standing up and keeps it from rolling when placed flat on the ground.

Wouldnt own a tank without one. Not only does it protect the finish, but it keeps tanks from rolling around in the back of the trunk.

Fits right on a 80cf alu cylinder. Grab a mallot and tap it on. Pretty easy and cheap protection for your cylinder

I think this lil item is a must have for anyone who has nice tanks. Even when i purchased my cylinder, the dive shop had moved it around and set it on the concrete ground. So there are a few ugly scuffs scratches and other blemishes on my brand new Candy Red aluminum cylinder. But i will not add anymore to it with this lil guy down there protecting the bottom of it. Seems to be a good snug fit and appears to be durable and rugged so my cylinder will stay pristine.

I put these tank boots on all of the bottles I have to protect the bottoms of the bottles. I utilize the center hole in the bottom of the boot for the vis sticker. it is always protected and isn't partialy coming off or damaged so it's not in question when I need it filled. Plus it also helps to keep the bottles from rolling around.

I had to run it under warm water to soften it up to get it on. Once on its fits great, looks good, works as advertised. Do they make these in colors other than black?
