Great stringer design, especially if you have biters. I string triggerfish through the mouth with this so they can't bite. Also, this stringer is much easier to load/hand off to the boat (as opposed to wire stringers) when you are trying to get on the boat. Easily clips to your belt, anchor line, etc.

great item to stringer fish that have been speared. run tip through eyes. can be hand carried and dropped, or can be attached to line and towed behind so if shark interested, can be dropped and dead fish are not at waist level. best if stringer is put into eyes before fish removed from spear.

If you spearfish, look no further. This is the stringer for you. It has a sleek, sturdy, and safe design with a pointed tip that is well concealed when closed. This is a problem with other stringers. In addition this is stainless steel, other stringers actually contain lead!?

This is the best stringer for toothy fish. String type stringers get caught in the teeth and gill spines of certain fish. This stringer lets you hook em' up fast and get back to hunting. Also gives you a lot of leverage against a bigger fish when he thrashes around.

I looked at the local dive shop, they wanted twice the price here and a less desired design. The point on this tucks away so you don't get stuck or hung up unlike two other designs I saw. I did trim the green rubber past the point of the stringer when I got it so that the rip that was present didn't rip all the coating off.

Best String on the Market!

Getting ready to do some spear fishing? You'll need a stringer and Leisure Pro has you covered with 3 of the best ones on the market. All stringers are made from 100% marine grade stainless steel and the tips are a dull point and won't put a hole in your wet suit or dry suit. The Standard" spearfishing Fish Stringer is big enough for 4 large fish or 20 small fish. this model is the standard 15" (38 cm). The Florida Special Fish Stringer is 15" x 8" (38 cm x 20.3 cm) and 1/4" (6.35mm) thick. This spearfishing stringer is easy to use one handed. You just push the tip into your fish, slide the spearfishing stringer off its keeper and slide the fish on. All with one hand. This design has small corner cross bar welded-in to keep the attachment clip in just the right spot, so it's easy to load fish on. Like the standard, it is big enough for 4 large fish or 20 small fish. The Big Man Fishing Stringer is 17" x 8" (43.2 cm x 20.3 cm) and 5/16" (7.9 mm) thick. Same basic design as the standard fish stringer, but bigger and stronger. Built to take whatever you can give it. Will hold 6 large fish and you can't shoot that many small ones to fill it. Spearfishing stringers are made in the USA.
