pamela g : how do I keep them from washing out when I wash and dip my mask to keep it from fogging.  I have lost two dive optxs this way and they move around to the wrong position also when I try to hold them in?darrick c : Hello Pamela, you would need to take them out prep your mask then install them when you are ready to go into the water.

Should I go with 2.00 or 2.50, then?darrick c : Hello Sophie, you would round down to the +2.0.PHILLIP M : I would go with the stronger diopter. With a stronger than needed lens you may have to hold the item you are looking at closer to your face to bring it into focus. If the correction is too weak you will have to move the item further away to bing it into focus. It’s much easier to bring your dive computer closer than trying to hold it further away. If you’re looking for additional information on the science an internet search for “how reading glasses work” should pull up what you’re looking for.KENNETH E : I would go up, just less eye strain. And my eyes are getting worse with age so I would need it next year anyway.

I followed the installation directions precisely, and the stick-on optics lasted two or three snorkeling sessions before first one, and then the other, detached and was lost in the water. I was deeply disappointed in this product.

Slide around after using defog

I followed the instructions to a a tee. I even let them dry for 3 days before use. And when I used defog it loosened the just enough to slide around on my mask. The didn't come loose but they did slide around making using them a trick.

Didn't stick by I didn't let sit full 24 hours

I think it would have been awesome if it would have stayed in place and I lost it. I will try again with the other and put it in place for over 24 hours and see if that helps!

Not perfect but does the job.

A little tricky getting placed in the right position in the mask. Have to be careful not to displace them while defogging - but once done they worked great. Was able to easily read dive computer and camera. Certainly much cheaper than a custom mask.

Dive Optx Stick-On Magnification Lenses?

A little difficult at first to apply on my ocean reef full face mask because it's because of the plastic lens, but after a few tries I was able to get then to stay on after I let them dry over night to stay on. On glass I feel it would have been much easier to apply. All in all I'm happy I can be able to see my dive computer and gages very clearly now.
