Shopper : Will this work with the Kapitol Reef (dry snorkel) that has a large air valve?YAN G : Possibly. It does stretch quite a bit.

Seems like it would be easy, but can't figure it out.Nina G : Am I SOL because of the large valve on top of this snorkel?COSETTE P : Wrap it around the mask strap (holes outward), then slide the top of the snorkel through both holes.COSETTE P : You need to remove one side of your mask's strap and slide it through one of the holes of the snorkel keeper, reattach the mask strap, and then slip the other hole of the snorkel keeper over the top of the snorkel. Might be a tight fit, but the neoprene will stretch.MIYUKI S : Bend the keeper over the mask strap and put the snorkel through both holes. It will be very nicely secured!CLAIRE R : You have to put the strap of your mask between the two holes in the snorkel keeper. Then thread the snorkel through the holes in the keeper. The snorkel should trap the mask strap in place.CHARLES S : 1. Place it inside the mask strap (against your head) 2. Fold it away from the inside (Head side), making a C around the mask strap. (Holes should be on top of each other with the thin middle touching the inside of the mask strap). 3. Slide the snorkel from the bottom upwards. 4. Adjust as needed.

Great Item

This is a great product. I recently broke my snorkel keeper and could not find a plastic replacement that would fit. Ordered this and it worked just great. I plan to keep several for spares in case anyone in my family breaks their keeper on one of our trips.

Because hair is too precious to waste

I teach a lot of young people (including girls with long hair). These snorkel keepers are great for eliminating the tangles and hair pulling that can happen with a silicon keeper or even a clip. These have saved a lot of discomfort with mask removal skills. The only drawback is that swimming pool chlorine eats them up.

Really great items to have!

I have been using this to clip my snorkel to my mask for many dives by now. This is totally awesome. It is so easy to on/off snorkel to my mask strap. Also, unlike the plastic clip or silicon/rubber keepers, this one never gets tangle with my hair. Since I wear a hood, this on the hood moves smoothly, too. I dove with this for close to 50 dives (all in warm water) so far but it is still in good condition!
