Much rather have a compact jar than a tube of silicon lube, however you are better off buying the more expensive Christo Lube MCG-111 for high oxygen content and Viton O-rings.

You don't get very much. The container is only about 20% full and its small to begin with.

Regulator and valve O-rings that are used with enriched air gas mixtures are required to be lubricated with lubricants that meet specific requirements. Using the proper lubricant when diving Nitrox or for oxygen stage bottles is not only important but can be lifesaving. Enriched air nitrox and oxygen use requires a lubrication that is non-carbon based. ChristoLube "129" meets that requirement. This 1/4 fl. oz (7.4ml) screw-cap container is a must for any Nitrox divers save-a-dive-kit.
