Not really what I was looking for, thought it would be smaller. Too bulky for my needs.

The best method I have found to hold your UW camera and lighting units safely attached to the BC while you swim or exit a dive. It only takes seconds to unclip the stainless steel cable and have free access to the camera. Need to deal with current, a swim thru, or other challenge recipe the cable and the camera is firmly attached. On boat dives I can leave the camera until the last minute and then unclip to hand to the boat hand helping divers up the ladders. Great product.

I love this quick release coil lanyard. I use it to secure my camera while getting in and out of the water. Easy to use with one hand and strong. As always with Leisure Pro it is exactly as advertised and shipped quickly!

This works great. Helps keep you trimmed while still having access to gadgets when you need them.

This is a good solid lanyard. I have two of these one has the clasp, and one has a magnet. Both are a couple of years Old have many dives on them. The one with the magnet option tends to break down and salt water overtime so the one with the clasp is the better long-term option.

I have two of these that are extremely similar but I use this one for my Big Blue dive light or for my GoPro tray. Works amazingly well. Way better for me than one if those retractable lanyards because I'm not always fighting it to stay out. When I'm ready to keep it close, I just re-clip it and away I go!

I spent $250 on a SOG knife, and then $25 on the insurance! Never again take an item out of your pocket, or your knife and accidentally drop it! It hasn't happened to me because I thought to myself, if I have to take my knife out for any reason (No not to kill a Great White) and fumble with it and watch it sink to the bottom and I don't have time or it went to deep to go after it. With this device, just pull it back up and it's yours again. After you open the clip, you have more than enough range of movement. Also, have one for my Nautilus Lifeline! They (Nautilus) say it is waterproof to 3' for 5 min with the cap open. So I can very quickly pull it back up again. I'm going to do a "Consumer" Test with it, next time I dive a pool and "hold their feet to the fire" if it doesn't work. I'm going to purposely let it hang off my BCD for 5 min and then pull it up and see if it flooded. Wish me luck, or should I say wish them luck! I hope their claim is accurate.

It came as a package deal with my UK SL4 LED light. Works great with the light, and much prefer it over the included hand strap. It will of course work with any other items you want to attach to your BCD.

After dropping my camera setup underwater earlier this year (Canon S95 w/ Recsea housing + strobe), I made sure that I would be purchasing one of these before my next dive. (Yes thankfully I was only 2' above a sandy bottom!!!) This works extremely well and I would depend on it to hold my camera close to my body when I needed my two hands for something else.

Used it to attach Camera to BCD. Again, Plastic has a cheap feel to it. Will give your BCD that "Christmas Tree" Look.

Great for clipping bulky items like cameras and lights to your BC. Within quick reach. Unsnap it and it will go beyond arms reach with out restriction.

Bought this to attach my point and shoot camera housing to the D-rings on my BCD. Works very well (especially useful when jumping in the water and climbing back out). The coil easily extends to the limits of my reach (and even to my buddy to take a pic of me), and more importantly gets the camera to my eye without trouble, and if the coil clip doesn't seat when I'm done, the coil ensures the camera doesn't go floating away unless of course I've detached it from the D-ring itself (a different clip). Detached from the D-Ring, I can use the coil as a wrist strap for my camera. Overall, a nice accessory for a point and shoot camera or a dive light.

This is a great lanyard. I attached my small dive light and my magnifying glass to it so I always had them with me. I had enough length on the lanyard to tuck it in my BCD while diving and able to take it out and use myself or hand it over to my buddy or the dive master when they wanted to check a little creature out. There is plenty of length in the coil to hand over to someone else to use while still connected to my BCD.

Received this with my light for free, can't complain with that price. Works well with the light to make sure it does not get lost, but the clip can become disconnected with the BC easily as its a cheap plastic clip - only takes a little force and it comes off. I would still keep the light attached to your hand or in your BC pocket and use this as a backup in case you drop the light/accessory.

I use this with my dive light. If I'm not using the light, it hangs from my BCD. When I want to use my light, I just unclip, look around and re-clip. It's great because there are no worries of losing my light.

Worked great with my Camera

Works good. Used it to secure various equipment such as a light and a dive slate on different dives. Very happy with this product.
We always need to attach more stuff to our equipment to free up our hands when we need them. Lanyards for lights, cameras, gauges, game bags, or maybe even a fish stringer when spear fishing. Having a few spare clips in your gear bag is a must for the serious diver. It's a snap! This Quick Release Coiled Lanyard expands to 36"(91.4cm). Simply unhook the latch with the squeeze-style quick-release buckle with your fingers and the coil is released, offering up to 36" (91.4cm) of extension during use.
Lanyard has non-corrosive gate snap attachment on one end and barrel lock fastener lanyard on opposite end that secures position in seconds. There is also a handy split ring attachment included. Coil lanyard is ideal for use with gauges & underwater photographic equipment. This Quick-Release Coil Lanyard makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.
