Questions & Answers

Shopper : Do the Oxygen connector can be removed to use the mask for regular mouth-mask-mouth?WILLIAM M : It has an attached cover that closes the O2 port and is removed for use with O2. It is ideal for protected mouth to mouth.STEVEN J : Yes
Denis F : The Pocket Mask has a built-in oxygen intake tube, allowing for administration of 50-60% oxygen. Why is the o2 only 50 to 60 % ? I though it the o2 content would relate to the o2 bottle contents ratio.ARSEV A : While 100% o2 is given from o2 intake, patient also inhale normal air which comes from the regular inhale way so when it mix with the 21% o2 in the air it just gives about 50-60% o2. If you close the normal breath way this mask can't support 100% o2 flow. hope it helps...KENNETH D : You can hook it up to 100% O2, but there is not a valve to prevent regular air from coming in the top where a rescuer would normally do mouth to mouth. So that's why they suggest it would only administer 50-60% O2.
COSETTE P : Does the mask case that comes with it have a way to attach it to a BC? Like a hole for a clip or ring?JOHN B : The case doesn't have a hole or clip. I stuff mine in a pocket on the BDC. Thinking about this though, one could use a small mesh bag and clip bag to a D ring on BCD. I put all my emergency items in pockets so that they are stowed out of the way and accessible. JAMES M : No. There are no attachment points or holes for cable. I just put it in my BC pocket.DAVE S : No it doesn't attach to your BCD, it is just a clam shell case that would easily fit into most BCD pockets.TIMOTHY G : No. You can keep it in a BC pocket if need be.JONATHAN S : Yes, it has a clip on the back.GROVER G : No. I take it out of the case and keep it in my BCD during the dive. It's held up just fine. HUGH W : Yes, but simple if I remember, I wouldnt count on it on your BCD without a zipper pouch. Going by memory, have not really used it yet.JESUS V : It shouldn't be attached that way, it will compromise the integrity of the plastic. The mask should be collapsed and placed in your BC pocket. AVIRAM L : No it doesnt, but it fits nicely in a drysuit or bc pocket. Its fairly small. Since its not waterproof you can probably put a hole in it and attach it via lanyard
Shopper : Does this mask come with the appropriate case?LeisurePro S : Yes
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?JEFF M : must have for completion of DM course
