Works well on hard, non-porous, surfaces like fins and parts of your BC. Leaves a fainter marking on soft, porous surfaces like neoprene which is still sufficient.

Easy to use but hard to see. Yellow works better.

Great product. I have had folks hook up to my gear. I have had folks adjust "their" weights in my gear. Makes it easy to say that is MINE even from a distance. It sucks to go home with only one one bootie or no fins!

I just used two "Mighty Markers" on my scuba gear. While I won't be using the gear until May, I can say that the markers were very visible on the clothing and scuba fins! I can't wait to see how the markers hold up underwater, but suspect they will do very well

It is a good policy to mark your equipment incase it is similiar to someone elses in the group. If it gets lost, marking your equipment will let the person know who it belongs to, but without a phone #, they may not contact you.

and now I can prove it will update if markings come off

I had to go over the writing several times before it would show. And it still looks very faded and is hard to read. It certainly does not stand out. Which is what I needed it to do

I have used these for years. The paint stays on well for all rubber type materials. Have not used it on metal or cloth

Does what it says, and is surprisingly durable in heavy saltwater diving usage. After 2 weeks of almost daily diving, my gear was still clearly marked.

I purchased this to mark my diving gear for easy identification. It works very well even on neoprene. Easy to use.

I've marked everything including my BCD, dive bag, dive computer, regulators, etc. Albeit some with just dots. But the ink has lasted well after many dives. I have yet to need to identify my equipment, but I know it's there if I need to. On fabrics like BCDs and dive bags, make sure you get the ink flowing on paper or something before using it on the fabric to get a better brighter lettering. I've also let it dry and done a second coat since the fabric can soak in the ink, making it light.

Best Marker out there for marking tires. We found them being used at a large Trucking Company and we now have our own to mark nails and tread wear on tires.

this is a very good way to keep track of your gear, also anti-theft. I find i had to reapply after approx one year.

Excellent marker and fast drying. Best on solid surfaces, but works on light colored fabric as well. I use it in conjunction with U-Mark It Gear Marking Paint which is brightly colored and is a rubbery marking paint ideal for any colored fabric.

So far so good. Did a few dives in a highly chlorinated pool after marking my gear, and it seemed to hold up.

Works exactly as advertised. Smooth writing on all gear - no runs or smudging. Writes clearly and stays on after several dives now. On neoprene, metal, plastic, so far - all surfaces!

When you travel with gear or dive from crowded boats, you run the risk of gear mix-up or loss. With your name and address permanently inked on your equipment, you will have a better chance of being reunited with it. Brite-Mark markers write on any material and the ink is permanent. Valve action mechanism prevents paint in barrel from drying when cap is left off. Drying time: 25 to 35 seconds. Pen is available in multiple colors.
