Very pleased with my purchase of the Scuba Max Force Gripper. It's a nice addition to secure my console with easy accessibility.

It is very durable and tight. It is made for heavy items. I purchased for my Camera but it has a very strong retract/resistance and will not work for that but I will find use for it.

I ordered two of these Max Force Gripper lanyards...and wish that I would've returned them immediately upon opening the box and seeing them. They are just too big to be practical for any of my needs. Way too big for flashlights and things of the like. I'd say the box is about 2 inches x 2 inches + the additional leash portion of webbing. They are made well and work as intended, I just underestimated the size of them.

This is not a "Whimpy" reel. It has the strength to easily keep my computer from dangling in the sand or reef. I have seen many divers with their hanging 6 inches or more from their body. The "Max Force Gripper" keeps your console close to your body. Plus there is no plastic snap, it has a good old strong brass snap.

I use this product to attach my camera in an Ikelite housing with DS-125 flash, to my BC. Previously I had the same product but with the carabineer, which was often difficult to get off at the end of a dive to hand my cammera up to the boat captain. The brass snap is much easier to get off. I also use the same setup on my night light. Now, I no longer struggle to get my camera detached at the end of dive.

We always need to attach more stuff to our equipment to free up our hands when we need them. Lanyards for lights, cameras, gauges, game bags, or maybe even a fish stringer when spear fishing. Retractors are one of the greatest ways to do this. When you need to use the attached, item all you need to do is pull the item and extended the retractor cord. When done, the retractor will reel in the item safe and out of the way.
Retractors not only keep us from losing important accessories, they also protect both the accessory and the dive environment. Items that hang from our equipment can break coral or damage the accessory, but retractors prevent this. The Innovative Scuba Concepts Max Force Gripper with Brass Snap comes with 25" (63.5cm) cord. Convenient brass 360 Degree swivel 3-3/8" (8.57cm) spring loaded bolt snap attaches to your BCD D-ring, keeping your accessory ready for use. Retractors make a great save-a-dive-kit item.
