Awesome!

Fantastic product, just as described. Super durable and preferred over the typical SMB. This pole design keeps the flag upright at the surface making it much easier for the chase boat/dinghy to spot you and scoop you up after the dive!

Better than a sea sausage type

Because it offers little resistance, it stands up to wind and waves better than an inflatable tube, which can bend over. It's a great diver survival tool! Keep it clipped to your person until you need it. It's well-made except the mfr. should either use better glue or sew the Velcro patch on, because it eventually gets sticky and slips off. Nevertheless, I'll always use one. It's repairable. I will replace the old bungee cord and give it to my friend. I am buying a new one for myself.

Trident Fold Up Divers Alert Flag

We went to a dive trip to the Galapagos October 2008, onboard each of us got a Trident fold up flag in case we got seperated from the group. The surge was big, and the divemasters encouraged us to use that flag instead of our classic sausage because it would stay up in strong wind and we would be easier to locate. We didnt use it, the situation didnt occur fortunately, but when we came back we ordered one for each of us from Scuba.com.

Very Handy Flag!!!!

I used this product on a trip to the Galapagos Islands in rough and windy conditions. It does not provide flotation like a sausage but it is easy to deploy and stays up well in the wind. It is also very visible.

Functional but bulky

My sister bought one from [...] and sent it to me.Product served its function. On one dive when I was running low on air, my divemaster and I started our ascent. Unfortunately, my dm's safety balloon will not inflate. We got to use the flag instead to signal our surfacing. It was easy to use. However, it seemed to be too soft for moderate currents. Also, quite bulky to fit into bc pocket, if it will fit at all. Mine didn't.

Being a safe diver is important as more and more people are taking to the water every year, and there is increased watercraft traffic in our favorite dive sites. Make sure to fly a flag when diving to alert watercraft operators that there are divers below! The Aqua Fold-Up Dive Flag alerts boaters that divers are present and to stay clear. Standard dive flags frequently drift away from dive sites while the diver is submerged, but this folding dive flag prevents flag from drifting with its unique and innovative design that alerts anyone on the water that a diver is about to surface.
