Lauren T : Does it work for a SCUBApro ladyhawk bcd?WILLIAM B : I had to cut a piece of thin cardboard to. Put in side extender until I got it over the existing Velcro strap then slide the cardboard out to complete the Velcro connection and it should work .KENT S : I don't knoow about a SCUBA Pro Ladyhawk BCD, but if your BCD used velcro strap with a buckle belt on the outside, then the extender should work. The left hand end of your cumberbund slips inside a pocket in the extender and attaches using velcro inside the extender. The other end of the extender will then velcro to your cumberbund as normal and the cumberbund will be secured with the overoapping buckle belt. Is my BC shrinking or am I “growing”?

This is one of those nice accessories that you don’t think about until you need it. On my last dive trip, I had a hard time closing my cummerbund. I made do on that trip, then I found this on the Leisure Pro site when I got home. It’s well-made, easy to use, and has a lot of reserve capacity. Highly recommended.

Cumberbun extender works.!!!

The cumberbun on my BCD apparently shrunk while in the closet. I didn't notice it until my first dive. I have not used the extender yet, but I believe it will fix the problem.

If you got too fat for your BC, this is way cheaper than buying a new one.

You have a BCD that fits fine everywhere except around the waist. Not a problem with the BCD Cummerbund Extender. Easy to install on your BCD's cummerbund, and provides extra fastening length when needed for a secure and comfortable fit. Cummerbund Extender is made from durable nylon with taped and sewn edges for added strength and durability. Extender has a sleeved pocket with hook & loop fasteners to capture your BCD cummerbund hook & loop to secure in place and adds an additional 8" (20.3cm) of cummerbund length. Once installed the external fastener will couple and secure firmly with you BCD's cummerbund fastener.
