ANDREW B : will this system fit wing-style BCD?Maria C : YEs it will fit any BCD that has a regular tank strap. You will love this strapJOSEPH C : I have one on an Edge Stealth 2 back inflate BCD. I would think it would fit a wing backplate also.SAMUEL L : Simple answer YES.. I have used this tank holding system in over 2,000 dives for sea urchins. I never 1 time had a problem. The big end will break off after 6 months, or about 300 uses, but the system works fine without it.. I hope this helps you.
Rock H : Can this strap be used on a two strap bc in order to lose one strap?KEN D : I used this as a one to one replacement and it works very well. Overall, it straps to the tank much tighter than a conventional strap. Therefore, I don't see why it wouldn't workCORINNE H : This is a very stable strap. However, I personally wouldn't use this alone on a 2-strap BC, because doing so might cause problems, based on the way the backpack is configured. I can't say just what these problems might be, but I wouldn't take the chance.JOHN D : This Apollo tank strap is my favorite, I have 2 because it makes tank swapping so easy. Traditional cam buckles are hard to close because to make them effective you have to adjust them tight, but you need to be a Rugby player to close the buckle. The Apollo on the other hand is easy to close because you just turn the screw to close, and it is not affected by web stretch. The Apollo buckle is so secure you could replace a 2 strap setup provided you have a 2 inch web slot on your BC.

great idea, bad design

THe concept is nice, however, the plastic piece used for the lock tends to break off easily. in my case, it broke after the first dive.

Makes Life Easier

Very simple to operate. Makes assembly much easier then the standard velcro strap. Holds very secure as well as provides for the ability to add trim weight pockets.

Apollo's Bio Tank Lock

I've been diving for years, and now and then i would have a tank slip out because it wasn't cinched down good enough. Although this thing is pretty expensive, it does save you getting goofed up during a dive or having to surface and fix your tank. It also is pretty easy to figure out, works well, and is well built. Can't ask for more then that.

Convenient and secure

I have installed Bio Tank Locks on all 5 of my families BC's, and no longer have any tank slippage issues when the band is properly tightened. A non slip rubber sleeve around the band would provide additional security and require less tension on the band.

Very Good Purchase

I was always worried about my tank coming loose on a dive (one interesing experience led to that). With the apollo, I don't have that worry anymore. It's definitely exceeded my expectations and holds my tank very securely and is easy to use.

No More Tank Slip!

How many times has your tank slipped ruining a dive? This WILL NOT happen to me again! This product is easy to use.There is a lttle adjusting you have to do at first, but it is worth it!My wife and I both have one.This product works!!

Worth the money

I will never have trouble with a tank slipping again. Much easier to use than a conventional strap. Easy to tighten...no straps to mess with. Worth the money!
