Chelan HB is designed for touring, adventure and all-around use. The long waterline, flat rocker and fine, piercing bow provide outstanding tracking ability and outstanding glide to cover long distances with ease. Chelan HB boats combine Aquaglide's tough Duratex tube construction with the supremely rigid Hard-Bottom floor for an expedition-grade boat that will last for many years. Chelan boats provide top-notch durability and performance for any adventure. Commercial-grade Duratex hull construction provides long-lasting performance no matter how far your travels take you. The boats inflatable tubes are 1000-denier, 850gsm (2.8ozsf) Duratex reinforced PVC with the hull manufactured from 500-denier, and 600 g (21.2 oz.) Duratex reinforced PVC. The high-pressure HB floor is made with reinforced 8 cm (3.2") Drop-Stitch construction that creates a solid Hard-Bottom platform that feels every bit as stiff and responsive as a hard-shell kayak. Innovative splash-guards positioned fore and aft of the cockpit help keep paddlers dry. Ample adjustable elastic accessory straps grace the bow and stern providing easy stowage for dry bags or other gear. Sturdy molded handles are positioned around the boat for convenient boarding and transport.

The Chelan HB kayak has a comfortable PRO-Formance seats provide an array of thoughtful features including adjustable air cushion, high backrest, plentiful mesh storage pockets, integrated fishing-rod holders, fore and aft seat straps and an infinite adjustment system for the perfect fit. The Chelan Tandem XL Tandem also includes a compact saddle that provides third-passenger seating without being in the way. High-performance fin system includes stiff, foiled fin with unique quick-release for easy setup. Adjustable foot rest improves comfort and paddling efficiency. The kayak uses high pressure spring valve using Halkey-Roberts type fitting for tubes and floor for easy inflation/deflation and comes with a cockpit drain that allows easy drainage of water from the boat. The Chelan HB Kayak has heavy duty D-rings for accessory tie-down and seating support. The kayak measures (L x W) 180" x 36" (457 cm x 91 cm), weighs 42.1 lbs. (19.1 kg) and has a maximum weight capacity of 600 lbs. (272 kg). The kayak is a 3-chamber design for added safety with an inflatable floor.
