Underwater Kinetics Aqualite Pro 20° eLED Light, White

I purchased two of the Underwater Kinetics Aqualite Pro light a couple of years ago. Used them perhaps 10 times and took very good care of them between dives. Switched over to a 20 degree head on one unit last year. That light went belly up on a dive at Little Cayman on the second dive. No flooding, just flashed a couple of time and went dead. Switched over to second light and it stopped working. Again, it did not flood, just stopped working. I have other Underwater Kinetic lights that are work horsed but the Aqualite Pros are not worth free shipping as far as I am concerned. Dan

Does exactly as it says. Used it during my entire PADI Advanced Open Water course including 2 night dives. Also used it on vacation on 2 dives at the Dominican Republic, including a small wreck dive. It worked like a charm. I really like how easy it is to operate, switch between full power and lower power options on demand and quickly in order to extend battery time. Very well built and compact. It’s very easy to streamline either placing it on the wrist mount or by attaching to a D-ring with retractable cord.

This light packs a lot of useful features such as a hand mount, adjustable intensity, rechargeable battery and excellent service from Underwater Kenetics. I flooded one and they immediately replaced it. A go pro style mount would be nice although you can modify the mount to the light..

I love this light and the hand mount, it gives me a great light and hands free available also if I need it. As an instructor I’m always looking for ways to streamline and make everything go a little smoother.

This lil beast is amazing! It packs so much light into such a small package. It is built well and looks amazing and really delivers. Love that it is rechargeable and via USB makes it more convenient to charge from more places or on the go. Again i cannot stress how much light comes from this little light. The changeable lamp head is another great feature. I can easily swap out the 20° white light for my UV-395 head and have the ultra violet light to react with the sea life for a whole new experience.

The first time I used the charger, its receptacle broke & wouldn't work because it was flimsy. Therefore, the torch is worthless. I purchased a decent charger. The one UK uses is of the poorest quality.

I bought this as a backup light, but the thing is bright enough to use as a primary light for someone that does not do frequent night dives (just be sure to have another backup). I attached it to a spring-loaded retractable lanyard off my BCD, but it could easily fit in a pocket as well. It is slightly larger than it may appear (if you are familiar with small handheld above-water tiny LED flashlights), but it's only slightly larger, which is probably better if you wear gloves underwater. I wore this flashlight (and used it) to a depth of 119 feet, although it's rated for deeper. I had no leakage issues at all, and it worked surprisingly well for its size.
