Introducing the new Sherwood Oasis, a completely redesigned regulator for ultimate comfort and easy breathing in all diving conditions. Tested in the most rigorous conditions, the Oasis boasts a proprietary valve design in its second stage, providing excellent performance in both lab and field tests.

The Oasis features innovative Moisture Retention Vanes that effectively capture exhaled moisture and return it upon inhalation, eliminating cotton mouth during your dive. The large diaphragm and purge cover ensure easy breathing, and the diver-operated Venturi control allows for easy adjustments.

The first stage of the Oasis is a dry, environmentally sealed design with no gels or liquids, maintaining a clean interior. Sherwood's unique dry sealed spring and flow-by piston balance the air in the first stage, ensuring excellent breathing characteristics at any cylinder pressure. The marine-grade chrome-plated brass construction ensures durability and longevity.

The regulator remains virtually uncontaminated from salt, sand, or chlorine, thanks to the dry seal function. With two high-pressure and four low-pressure ports, the Oasis is a workhorse first stage regulator. Its tee-shaped design reduces profile when mounted on a tank, minimizing contact with the back of the head.

The second stage of the Oasis features a large diaphragm and exhaust valve for optimal inhalation response and decreased exhalation resistance. With its dependable downstream demand valve design, high-impact glass-filled polyamide housing, and venturi adjustment lever, the Oasis is a top choice for any diving enthusiast. Moisture retention vanes promote hydration and reduce dry mouth effects, making the Oasis perfect for warm-water divers. The regulator comes with a 3/8" threaded 31" (78.75cm) low-pressure hose, is nitrox compatible up to 40% oxygen, and includes an owner's manual.

- Mares Prestige Octopus -
The Prestige is a mid-size octopus with a stylish design, strengthened by technology to give steady, natural and effortless breathing. All Mares second stages are a reliable downstream valve design and offer the unique patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

Furthermore, the compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue and offering a secure fit even after very long dives. Mares Octopus Prestige incorporates the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, developed after in-depth studies and tests of fluid dynamics, is engineered to receive and properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing. Mares developed the Superflex hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and further reducing jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with a high visibility yellow cover and Superflex hose that is a 3/8" threaded high flow hose and is 39.4" (100cm) in length. The regulators total weight is 13.33 oz. (378 g). Regulator is nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out-of-the-box.
