Shopper : What's the difference between this model wetsuit and the previous model?Robert W : Not sure of the differences between this model and the previous model. This is a very light weight warm water wet suit, I use it regularly (over 100 dives) and it's held up very well. I wouldn't count on it to keep you warm, It is mainly for protection from coral and other subsurface particles. Very easy to put on and doesn't take up much room in the dive bag.
Shopper : sizing table for xl suit?William C : I am 6'2 and 215, with long arms (37" sleeve in a dress shirt) and legs (34" inseam) and like the XXL. Can't imagine using the XL as the XXL is plenty tight around my chest and shoulders. I take an XXL in other SCUBAPRO wetsuits as well.HEIDI T : I am 6'2" &195 lbs. The suit fits perfectly my non pot-bellied frame.RANDALL T : I am 5'7" 215lbs. the XL was a little tight but fro a 1mm I would not want to go to a large size because of sagging. The only part that was really tight was the arms. the torso fit correctly.GEORGE B : AccurateRobert W : I am 6'3", 240lbs, the XL fits well, could be a little longer in the arms. Only use this suit for warm water diving, very comfortable, easy to put on, better protection than a skin. I have two other wet suits, 3mm, & 7mm for different dive conditions. It's a good warm water dive suit for the price, can't go wrong with ScubaPro.

Very Nice!

Very nice! I haven't worn it a bunch (yet) - as I have other thin wet-suits that I wear for UV protection. But this on is very nice.

Nice wet suit

I purchased the suit for a trip to Islamorada in May . Seven days of doubles and love the suit , I got a medium I'm 5'6" and weigh 176 my only disappointment is it's not made in a medium short .

Love the zips

A 3mm with Zips at ankles and wrists! Fits really well, much easier on and off with the zips, no increase in flushing through the suit. Perfect. A little too warm for 82-84 degree water in Belize last week, should be perfect for Bonaire in January. Graphics are good, too.

Scubapro 1mm Everflex Tropical Steamer

Purchased the wetsuit for a dive trip down in the Keys. Received it promptly and its a very nice well looking made suit. A little disappointed in the fit. Ordered a 2x and found it to fit perfect except in the arms which were on the tight side. I'm middle age and fuller around the waist and have very average arms, so I was surprised that the arms were so snugged to get on. After doing 10 dives in the Keys the other week I noticed the arms of the suit seeing some chaffing. Other than that the suit was great and perfect for the 84-85 degree water temps.

The lightweight Tropical 1mm steamer offers just the right amount of protection for fun in the tropics. Delivering optimal comfort and flexibility for warm water divers, the suit features Everflex styling and 1mm neoprene with stretch fabric, plus a plush torso lining and anti-abrasion panels on shoulders and knees. Offering the perfect level of full-body protection without bulkiness, its design and construction makes it super affordable for tropical diving or any watersport activity.

Made from 100% Everflex neoprene, an X-Foam formulation, for durability and better health. This EverFlex suit uses X-Foam Nylon-2 Neoprene an exclusive Scubapro formula. X-Foam is the only formula which complies with very strict P.A.H. test requirements. P.A.H. (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) is found in many things, including petroleum-based products. Scubapro is very encouraged to be able to offer this neoprene blend to better protects divers and our seas.

Built to last with heavy-duty Tatex printed kneepads and shoulder patches provide superior anti-abrasion protection. All-EverFlex flat stitch construction plus interior torso lining material keeps you even warmer without bulkiness. Rear diagonal zipper with PVC patch makes easy work of donning and doffing the suit. Thumb loops and feet stirrups prevent ride-up when worn beneath a wetsuit. Suit weighs 1.2 lbs. (544 g), is black in color and available in multiple sizes.
