Questions & Answers

Roger F : Old style with 4 AAA batteries. Where can I find very small krypton bulb?Tommy H : Your question is mostly unclear or fuzzy. Not sure what kind of light you have. You only describes it as an old style Princeton Tec XL 120 Impact. However, sources such as Amazon and Walmart might carry just what you need in a bulb replacement. (Please duly be advised and cautioned, that messages from this contact cannot be for permanency on a website period. Please adhere.)ERSIN S : Search it on Amazon. There are bunch of options coming up but can't put the link here.
Richard A : the chrome around the bulb has peeled off, have they upgraded the new ones?MICHAEL T : No change as far as I can see.N. SCOTT N : I have 2. One is a little over a year old with around 60 dives on it. I haven’t had that problem with either one. Hope this helps.
Shopper : Is there a high and low setting for this item? (Messages from this contact are not meant for aNY use on your website and must be kept faithfully emoved. Please adhere)Anuj K : No, there is just one setting.Michael R : No, just on and off
Shopper : What is the depth rating of this light?MICHAEL T : I can't tell you. I bought them for night dives-most are not deeper than about forty feet-so maximum depth was not an issue for me.Sandy L : Not sure what's on the spec but used this on a wreck dive, 110 ft down and it was great.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Heather M : PriceWILLIAM N : Have used this light before and this is my third one, very good diving light!ROBERT A : price design and colorJames W : Very excellent, bright light - for use underwater and above!Phillip W : already own one and love it. Especially the led feature.FRANK Y : good price for a back up lightMARY LYNN S : Looks like a high quality light for a backup.Luis M : I needed a small dive lightJERRY B : I already own a Princeton Tec Torrent LED Dive Light and it is the best dive light that I have ever owned (ie. UK SL-4, Ikelite Mini-C, Ikelite PCa, etc.). So, when I saw this Princeton Tec Impact XL LED Dive Light on clearance, and after reading the positive reviews, I just had to have it!NICHOLAS B : small and well pricedMICHAEL T : It's small and cheap and I've had good luck w/ this brand in the past.

Great Light for Safety

Compact, decent brightness, long burn time. I take it on every dive to peer under ledges, and for safety. With such a long burn time, I could be at sea for days and still have light. On night dives, it makes a very good backup.

Seems bright and solid enough

I wish these lights were less expensive. Yes, it works great and it is very bright. But, it is something I rarely need so I didn't want to spend alot. This is the best compromise between cost and quality.

A dependable light with a very good beam

I bought one of these lights years ago that I used for hunting, (coming out of the woods after dark) I liked it because it was dependable and put out a very good beam of light, it was so dependable that I never thought to check the batteries and after 5 or 6 years I checked them and there was corrosion in the light, so I thought it was time to replace it. A very good light. Thank You

Great back up light

Perfect size to attach and tuck in for a backup light. It came in handy on a day dive when looking under some overhangs.

Excellent, small light-low price

This short, easily gripped dive light provides a very strong beam and can easily fit into one's BC pocket for use as a secondary light for night dives. Four AA batteries are needed and easily changed thru the screw-off lens cap which is also the on/off switch. $40 might be expensive, but $25 makes it a great buy.

Good little light

Princeton Tec took the traditional look and feel of handheld halogen lights and added in Princeton Tec's Max-Bright LED to make the Impact XL. With a rubber over-mold and rugged construction, the Impact XL is durable enough for any conditions. The Impact XL is the finest 4 "AA" battery, L.E.D. light to ever grace the market. Weighing in at 6.95 oz. (197 g) with batteries and offering waterproof integrity to 330' (100 meters) IPX8, the Impact XL utilizes a Max-Bright L.E.D., which is one of the most powerful L.E.D. sources in the world. The light provides a visible light distance of 210' (64 meters) on land.

The light output of the Impact XL is significantly greater than competing 1-watt xenon and halogen bulbs and it produces a truer, whiter light than many other L.E.D. and incandescent flashlights on the market. The innovative rubber over molded grip ensures that you'll be able to securely hold the light, even under the most demanding circumstances. With a bulb life rating of 10,000 hours and its rugged impact-resistant polycarbonate plastic design, the Impact XL is sure to be reliable when you need it. The Impact XL gives 120 lumens of brightness, with a 50 hour burn time on a set of batteries. Light comes with an adjustable rubber shrouded wrist lanyard and an owner's manual.
