This is the upper class regulator you want.

I own 15 regulator sets. Poseidon is the one I like the most. Unfortunately for me, I am the one of my friends with all the equipment(not sure if means I have a lot of scuba equipment or a lot of friends, maybe both?. Either way it's a good situation to be in!). My friends know nothing of any scuba equipments price or name brand status. They simply argue over who is going to use this regulator as it breathes so easy and makes them feel at ease underwater. There are other reasons Poseidon regulators are supreme: #1 in cold water performance. Simple and reliable design. But the fact that new divers prefer this regulator to all the other manufacturers I own(Oceanic, Dive Rite, ScubaPro,) is likely the best positive review.

The Jet Stream Mk3 is the latest version of the well-known Jet Stream Regulator. With a high-flow second stage design, it delivers 63 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) or 1,800 liters per minute of gas flow. The second stage uses an upstream servo-valve design and includes a safety valve with an opening pressure of 261 +/- 14 psi (18 +/- 1 bar). Its housing is made from durable PVC, with metal mechanisms and rubber components. The regulator features an automatic Venturi assist and inhalation control.

The first stage employs a balanced rolling diaphragm ball valve design, ensuring exceptional leak tightness. Traditional designs may be prone to wear and misalignment, but this ball valve always finds its proper position. When combined with the second stage, the first stage's impressive capacity allows the regulator to meet EN 250 breathing performance requirements even at a low cylinder pressure of 232 psi (16 bars).

This means an extra 493 psi (34 bars) of gas compared to most other regulators! The first stage requires fewer O-rings than other regulators and has hose routing optimized for redundant systems with two regulators. The HP ports are designed to accommodate gas monitoring computers or first-stage-mounted HP sender/receiver units.

The first stage features a built-in Poseidon T.D.A (thermo-dynamic anti-freeze) that needs no maintenance. Identified by large slots in the cover, it allows water's heat energy to reach the spring while insulating the spring from the cold inside. This system protects the sensitive parts from freezing without compromising any detail. With Poseidon T.D.A, a regulator can free-flow air in 32 1/2F (0 1/2C) freshwater for at least 10 minutes and still function flawlessly. The first stage is made from chrome-plated brass, and the regulator system includes a 27.6" (70 cm) LP hose. The Jet Stream Mk3 comes with an owner's manual.
