This is not for diving as it is just water resistant, not water proof! It is great for before and after the dive as to not get your IPOD wet on the boat or covered with sand while diving from the beach, or just hanging out by the pool enjoying your favorite post dive "Boat Drinks" and tunes!

I travel frequently for work and bought a high-end set of ear phones for my ipod. Most ipod cases just protect the ipod and don't have a secure place to store headphones. This case does the trick. It is high quality and very rugged, yet easy to open and access the ipod. It easily clips to a bag or back pack. It's a good value for the money, especially considering the cost of the electronics it protects.

I'm not a diver. I am a heavy equipment operator. I operate dozers, scrapers, and other various pieces of heavy earthmoving construction equipment. I have an Ipod Nano video (the short fat one) This case is not fitted for it however it fits in it nicely. It's great cause I get shaken up all day and now I don't have to worry about my Ipod breaking.

The back of this case holds an iPod securely, but there's no padding in the front--the iPod just smacks against the cover when it's closed. In addition, the "outside headphone jack" is positioned so close to the latch that you can't plug headphones into it without twisting it slightly--and when I twisted it slightly, the wiring came loose!

Excellent durability and ease of use. Perfect fit for the new iPod classic line and with the built in plug connector, your iPod stays secure while you enjoy the music or open the cover for video. The case is a little bulky for small hands, but the protection more than makes up for the size.

I wanted a case that would provide security for my iPod while I was kayaking. This case was too bulky, the audio connection didn't work (half the time), and I didn't trust the water-proofness of the connection. My iPod had to be wedged into position inside the case, even though the case was "made for" my iPod version and size. Bottom line: I was not impressed.
