Aqua Lung The Travel Package

The travel-friendly Zuma finds favor w/divers who are tired of paying excess baggage fees. This ultra-light, weight-integrated, back inflation BC has everything you need, yet lacks weight & bulk. Once you lift it, you'll feel for yourself that a size ML/LG weighs less than 4.75 lbs. (2.2 kg), w/inflator & weight pockets! Great packability, flat or rolled. The BCD fits nicely, along w/rest of your gear into the Aqua Lung Departure carry-on bag. Innovative tank support system eliminates need for a hard pack. The tank band has been lowered to integrate w/waistband. A valve strap pulls top of cylinder in towards your center of gravity. This relieves the shoulders & transfers the load to the hips. The bottom line is proper fit, comfort & stability.

SureLock II Mechanical Weight Release System. This weight systems pockets align themselves. Just insert the pocket until it clicks. A simple, single pull release is all that's needed to jettison weights in an emergency. The SureLock II weight pockets can accommodate 20 lbs. (9 kg) capacity in all sizes. The Zuma also has optional non-releasable weight capacities of 10 lbs. (4.5 kg). A bladder retraction system is used to pull in the sides of bladder during deflation. This keeps unit streamlined & reduces drag. An adjustable chest strap can be raised/lowered on rail system. Set it for your personal comfort. Proprietary flat valves are streamlined, eliminating drag. The fold-down, easy-access pocket is perfect for a small flashlight or a fish I.D. slate.

BC has 4 D-rings to attach accessories. Lower right pull dump for headfirst descents or cruising horizontally. Sculpted padded shoulders for comfort. Padded spine & lumbar support for comfort & stability. Knife attachment points are found on left lobe which will accommodate many Aqua Lung knives. Right shoulder pull dump provides additional dumping option. Rolled neck collar prevents abrasion on neck.

The BC comes equipped w/Aqua Lungs Power Line Inflator; increased fill rate, one of the highest air flows in the industry. The Power Line is an environmentally sealed unit for less maintenance, has integrated hose clips for attachment to the LP hose for a streamline & low profile. The inflator is equipped w/cable activated rapid exhaust at top, simply pull down on lower unit to dump air. The Zuma BCD provides 22 lbs. to 34 lbs. (10 kg to 15.42 kg) of lift size dependent. The BCD comes with a low pressure 3/8" threaded hose.

The Mikron is the smallest & lightest weight regulator in the Aqua Lung line. Weighing in at 31 oz. (893 g), this regulator is perfect for travelling diver. Even more amazing is the performance is not sacrificed by the extreme compactness of regulator. Its balanced 1'st & 2'nd stages produce excellent breathing performance. Compact dimensions & low weight blend comfort w/unique diving experience. A braided hose, weighing less than 5 oz. (141.7 g), provides flexibility, comfort & excellent packability.

The 1'st stage is a balanced diaphragm type that has 2 HP ports (7/16") and 4 MP ports (3/8"). The balanced diaphragm 1'st stage, by nature of its design, is environmentally sealed & provides excellent, consistent performance. The T-shape of 1'st stage optimizes the location of the MP & HP ports. Uses parts that are common to other Aqua Lung models for easier servicing. Compatible with up to 40% O2 right out of the box.

Pneumatically-balanced 2'nd stage results in smooth, easy breathing. The 2'nd stage has an adjustment knob that allows diver to optimize opening effort. In Min position, the opening effort is increased, which is ideal for avoiding free flows at the surface. In Maxi position, inhalation effort is lowered, reducing work of breathing. Equipped w/Aqua Lung's Comfo-Bite mouthpiece (small version included) along w/reusable mouthpiece clamp.

The ABS Octopus combines good breathing performance w/benefits of a low-profile body style. Unique 120° angle between hose & mouthpiece: This Aqua Lung innovation is ideal for giving octopus to a buddy - works in either right or left-hand positions. No sharp bends in hose or upside-down octopuses in mouth. 39" (99cm) yellow hose easily distinguishes ABS hose from primary hose. High visibility hose is easily spotted in case of an out-of-air emergency. Exceeds CE breathing requirements for regulators. Versatile design allows proper function when right side up or upside down. Custom quick-release mounting clip keeps ABS properly located on the body at-all-times. Reliable downstream demand valve mechanism, & compatible with up to 40% O2 right out of the box. Has silicone mouthpiece with ergonomic bite wings.

Integrated temperature scale, Nitrox compatible up to 50%, Swiss made, shock resistant Bourdon tube, one-way safety valve and a hose length of 36" (91.44cm). Products come with owner manuals.
