Bought for my 8 year old daughter, wife has similar item. Good for light trips but a sleeve for a water bottle would make this thing so much better

I have used it as essentially a purse. I have used it to carry water and other basics on a long walk. I plan to use it for hikes. I'd change clip to closer to bag and have one on each side (and perhaps a two way zipper to go 2/3 of the way around the pocket so it could be worn across body in either direction. I find it tricky right now with a right shoulder strain. I love this bag and might buy in a second color when my shoulder is better.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag!!! Super durable and comfortable! I haven't had the front mesh problems like some people, but I don't keep much in the pocket other than small items so I am not stressing the mesh. I can't say enough good things about this bag. Much prefer it over competitor bags. The back panel and inside strap are made of a nice material that is kind to clothes, unlike others that feel like they are going to put pills in the areas that the bag slides.

Bought for skiing but have used as a pack while in NYC. Good for phone and umbrella etc. Slim on the train.

I really like this product because of its fine materials and is easy to use but i do not like the mesh pocket because when you put things inside it people can easily see through overall this bag is perfect.

This is a great everyday bag. I use it as a purse. Fits more than you'd thing. The contents are designed to be easily accessed with the bag still slung over the shoulder which is a great feature. My only suggestion would be to make the top, smaller pocket of a stronger fabric than the stretchy mesh-like material. I am sure that is going to rip oen.

Perfect pack for short hikes or running around town, first time out with it today on a 4mile hike, held all the necessities along with my camera. Loving the pack so far!

Osprey is the first company I have ever really had any kind of "brand loyalty" to. I own three Osprey bags now, and the sling is the latest. I'm about to take it on a long trip overseas as my everyday pack/ personal item and I can already tell I'm going to love it. Compact enough to to be comfortable to wear when full, it still holds everything I'll need to make my flight comfortable and it will fit easily under the seat. I really love that there are a few mesh compartments on the inside to keep certain items easily accessible. MY problem with other sling bags as always been that it's just one, awkward shaped compartment on the inside and everything slides to the bottom out of easy reach. The inner pockets help keep smaller items from slipping down.

This is a neat little pack! Great for short hikes or strolling around town. Colors match other Daylite bags. Plan on using this for a lunch bag as well as short daily adventures.
