Questions & Answers

BRIAN E : will this work with oceanic pro 2 dive computer?JOSE C : This is the interface cable you need to buy SKU: OCNPCUSB2KENNETH F : It will work for the GEO 2.0 which is what I gaveJOSE C : Hi, this interface cable won't work with a pro plus 2 computer. You need to buy a different interface cable.
Carolyn C : Is it compatible with Mac?Michael W : Many people are answering that there is no Mac compatible software for our computers. That is false. Our company has recently released Diverlog software that is Mac compatible. Check it out at http://www.ediverlog.com/ and download it off of iTunes.DONALD J L : I have a MacBook Pro (2011) with a Windows 7 virtual machine (Parallels). I do the upload from a Geo into the Oceanic software (Oceanlog) on the virtual machine. Then I use Diving Log (5) to import the data from the Oceanic software.GRAHAM F : We use ours with a Mac, but we sync it with a third-party software called Mac Dive, which is $25 I think. You might need to download a free driver too, but Mac Dive will tell you on their website. Mac-Dive is great, well-supported, and is like having iTunes for your dive log.CHRISTIAN W : The hardware is Mac compatible, but the software is not. I'm running their software in a Windows VM on my Mac... so, another ~$100 expense.
Shopper : Will this work with the Atom 3.0?WILLIAM L : Sorry, but I don't know. I use it with a Geo wrist style computer. My wife has an Oceanic ProPlus 2.1 console computer, and we needed to purchase a specific data cable for it.LORIANN P : i have a geo, so don't know. they look the same so expect it should.SCOTT N : Yes this works great to download from the watch I have used it for some time now and it will be used again this week ScottKENNETH D W : It works for my Geo, but I'm not sure for the Atom. Oceanaic's website says the cable comes with the Atom 2 and 3. I would contact Oceanic or LeisurePro to confirm before purchase
Shopper : Is this compatible with the new Geo 2.0?LeisurePro S : Yes, SKU OCNPCUSB3 will work with the new Geo 2.0.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?ERIC S : Replacement for a broken cableMarisol P : I lost my previous cable and I cannot review all the details for my dives with Geo2 hence is something that must be buy with the computer.Steven M : want to electronically log my divesSTEVE W : I purchased a Oceanic Geo wrist computer but received a Geo 2 instead. When I went on my first trip I found out the watch ran very slow and the computer could not be relied upon. I now have to purchase this product to obtain firmware fix from Oceanic. I never anticipated this expense.RICHARD A : Works great.

Way overpriced

I don't know where to start. The cable works. It's usage is weird. You plug in the computer and then a timer starts and you have to transfer within that time. Then unplug the computer when done. You can't just leave it plugged in. Connecting it to the dive computer initializes it for transfer, but within timer. There are compatible cables to this by other manufacturers, such as Tusa, which could vary in price.

USB data download cable for GEO 2.0

This is not a cheap accesory, but if you want to be able to review and analize your dives it is a must! I got an Oceanis GEO 2.0 and a friend told me it is better to download the data rather than type it everytime, also allows you to check the data during your whole dive which is downloaded to your PC otherwise there is no way to obtain it from the watch, without downloading it you will only be able to see maximum depth, time elapsed and water temperature.

Oceanic USB Wristwatch cable for OceanLog

You cannot mention a lot about a cable. It works perfectly with my Geo 2.0. The cons, I think would be great that download cable were standarts with mini o microUSB, instead this propietary cable.

PC Cable

Works alright and if you want to download your Oceanic computer, it's the only game in town. The connection is a little iffy but doable. The instructions aren't really clear but the connection is a "line up and push straight in" connection vs a twist or slide connection. Once you get that figured out it works almost every time. I would recommend it, but only because there is no better option and I enjoy the more detailed info available by downloading.

You got the Oceanic Atom, Geo or F10 Dive Computer (see SKU's: OCNGE2, OCNF1) but you are tired of writing down all the information in your log book. Then start an electronic logbook with this download kit. The kits program is available on line at www.oceanicworldwide.com. Easily download your logged dives to your personal computer with this download cable. Once you have the program on your computer this cable will allow viewing of dive profiles with color graphs. Easy to print out log information when you are ready to vacation in St-Somewhere and want to prove your diving experience.

It can help improve diving ability by allowing you to observe critical dive profile information. Share your underwater experiences with others; this is a must for the series diver. The USB cable allows you to download depths and decompression status, maximum depth, bottom time, descent/ascent rates, ambient temperatures, surface intervals, and all warning points entered during the dive.
