Nice propulsion but HEAVY. Will figure out how to add some foam to ankles to counteract heavy fins pulling feet down all the time.

I have tried several others and have found none better. My original fins are still good. I bought these because they were on sale to use as backup. About the sizing. My original V 12's were size Regular. The catalog lists a M and XL. I previously ordered an XL and they were too big. This time I ordered a M. When I received them they were size Regular like my originals and fit perfect. I wear a size 12 shoe.

Excellent fin with superb propulsion. While everyone is fighting the currents I am working half as hard. They are not light (small drawback) but very well made. The replacement straps are a bit expensive (15$) each. If you drop them off the boat they will sink after a few seconds.

I have only just begun to get into scuba diving but out of the fins I have tried I love these. They feel comfortable, and I can already tell a big difference in the efficiency of my kicks. I would definitely recommend this product and it was also at a great price compared to what I have seen on other web sites.

I bought these for my scuba class and for my certification. I will still use them for my own after certification. My teacher likes them and says they are good for what I need.

I use this fin for scuba diving and it's a hard worker. Easy to get on and off in surf and good propulsion. I've always used paddle fins and actually had a hard time not kicking the same when I got the V12, but after a short time I used to the flutter kick used with a split fin. I would recommend the Vortex V12.

This fits a shoe type boot. They are heavy but work and feel great in the water. Good in waves and boogie boarding.

i were a size 11 shoe bought this fin in medium and were a 3mm bootie fits a little loose so would accomadaye 5mm bootie perfect. That said this fin is comfortable and performs well i use them for travel mostly warm water diving, they are a shorter then my normal fins easier to pack maybe a little heavy. For a preformance to price ratio you can't go wrong

This is my first set of true scuba fins, and I was impressed by how easy it was to generate speed and thrust under water. Buoyancy was not compromised by the larger heavier style and though it went on heavy, felt incredibly light under the water. I played around with leg kicks and found that a narrower width between the legs and more rapid kicks led to the greatest speed. The split fins, for me, really worked well with my hip flexor strength and allowed me to never have to make slight adjustments with my hands to maintain neutral buoyancy. Felt like a fish!

Good fins. I am relatively new to diving, and haven't used many different fins, except very inexpensive fins, or fins from a resort. These are a little heavier than I would recommend for travel. Once in the water, the weight is not noticeable. I have not been able to use them for tropical dives yet, but they work amazing in my local lakes. Easy to get speed and negotiate around. I used them spear fishing and they were perfect. Easy to change direction and chase down game. They kicked up less lake bottom than my friend's fins. Easy adjust open back, plenty of room with boots.

Have had my original Vortex 12 for ten years. This recently ordered pair, are two inches longer than the original. Would prefer them not be so much longer. All in all, great fins, and that is why I ordered a second pair.

Finally, a fin that doesn't give me leg cramps! Extremely comfortable & lightweight. Very energy efficient & fast. The first time i wore them I was amazed at how fast I could move thru the water so effortlessly. I reccommend them to all my dive buddies.

I love these fins underwater, but they really lack the power you need to kick out in a strong swell. I actually had to take five once we got out past the breaks because I had to kick so hard. They were amazing under the water though; I hardly felt them and they trimmed really well. If you're doing a beach entry or are diving in a surge, I'd probably skip the split fins and go with a fin that gives more power.

Delivery was fast in 2 days it was from USA in UAE, Dubai (and took another 3 days to deliver locally, local guys are really lazy) I took whole set up and it came in big box, everything was inside. I would recommend Leisurepro to all who is going to buy Diving staff.

I love these fins. I put a set of spring straps on them and they are great. Very efficient fins. It feels like I'm using about half of the energy that I used with my last fins and I loved them. I would buy them again in a heart beat. If you are looking for fins give these a try you will love them!

Very fast fins!! I use it for taking sharks uw photos... so I need fast fins to "pursue" then!! And when you need to sprint this fins realy help you... I just think it is a a little bit heavy fins!! cost-effective!
