Love it!

Very happy with this jacket. Very comfortable and easy to get on and off. Shell material is thick, tightly woven and sheds water extremely well. I have worn it several times and have stayed warm and dry in 50-60 degree weather. Price is much lower than Kokatat for comparable quality. Shipped free and fast.

Loved it but hard to get out of without help

Very happy with it except that the tight seals make it VERY HARD to get in and out of it. Not for solo travelers!

Most used piece of outerwear

The GlideSkin™neoprene neck gasket on the NRS Stampede Paddling Jacket is so comfortable. I paddle in this top more days than my drysuit or my drytop. It is very versatile and comfortable. The neck does not chaff, even in salt water. I use it often surf kayaking. When the season really warms up in the Idaho summer, I switch the the short sleeve Stampede.

tunnel velcro area, sticky neoprene material needs be wider

the tunnel velcro system is not enough material. The width of the cumber-bun on the crux dry suit is wider. the semi dry top should be the same.

Waited too long to buy this gem!

I've always purchased dry tops for my whitewater paddling and they have served me well, keeping me dry and warm in the toughest of conditions. But the only real down side to dry tops, they are pricey. Enter the Stampede Jacket, don't know why it took me so long to give this product a try but I am sold on this item. Very comfortable as in the neoprene neck isn't chocking me to death, yet not taking in any water at all. Super comfy and good looking too at half the price of my dry tops. The only thing I can't attest to is durability as I have only used it three or four times so far. But if its like everything else I've purchased from NRS over the years it will get a lot of use before it's retired.
