The MD3183 T2 Mustang Survival Inflatable PFD boasts a durable construction from 420-denier nylon and heavy-duty polyurethane-coated nylon, providing 35 lbs. (15.88 kg) of buoyancy when inflated. A status indicator window (green indicates readiness), an internally-housed inflation cylinder (33 g CO2) to guard against corrosion, a strobe light holder, a safety whistle, and SOLAS reflective tape enhance safety. The PFD also includes a backup oral inflation tube for manual inflation and a D-ring for kill-switch attachment. This PFD has the U.S. Coast Guard's approval as a Type II Personal Flotation Device and comes with an owner's manual.
